Nice stuff - I'd love to see more city tiles. If I ever have the ink to print stuff off...I'll definitely include yours.
Keep up the great work.

You could make a file with room objects that are placed seperately, as HeroQuest furniture is. That would make the tiles more customizable for Homebrew Quests. Should you decide to do this, then addtional open floorplans would be in order. A bed or cask could then be placed where anybody desired, allowing for a greater number of city plans. It still would be worthwhile to keep some premade rooms to save cutting and playing time, however. Nice job. :)

Alternate floor textures would feel more HQ, and add variety to the city landscape, as well. Variations in the board size, pattern, and color could help do this. Maybe some dirt floors, or tiled ones.

The isometric view of the inner walls doesn't seem to be working as well as the bordering walls. The 2nd pic works fine, but starting with the 3rd pic I'd make the viewing angle more steep or even just make a top-view line for walls that are completely withing a tile and not at an edge.

Hey Daedelus, thank for your support ;)

You could make a file with room objects that are placed seperately, as HeroQuest furniture is.

I begin to think that this would be the best solution to allow customization. On the other side, a fixed layout also allows the creation a of random generation system and also a quicker settings. I'll provide both I think.

Variations in the board size

My initial objective was to create a whole city tileset made out of squared tiles, so that everything fits, I'll keep that layout.

The isometric view of the inner walls doesn't seem to be working as well as the bordering walls.

Yes I see what you mean, and I think i'll go with simple 'black' walls.

pattern, and color could help do this. Maybe some dirt floors, or tiled ones

I have a pretty clear objective : create everything needed to set up a city : house (noble, poor, normal), taverns, shops (alchemist, armory, etc), prison, market place (shops, horses, wells, etc), temple, docks (boats, entrance to sewer, etc), guard's tower, prison, Castle walls, Castle............... :D

The most difficult things is to find/create appropriate furnitures, textures.

I'd flip the vertical wall between the table and bedroom, so it connects better ;)
otherwise: awesome! I think you should go ahead and make this town board tileset for us:
