Mercenaries / men-at-arms and ogres!







I can't remember but I guess my ogre warlord's arm was damaged or something... so I did some replacing arms and weapons here. Warlord got the big axe and pristine claw-gauntlet-thing, while chieftain got a smaller axe from a WH chaos warrior and a dirtier gauntlet.

The paint work on these is really good! Im still working on my own collection and I'd be happy with a job half as good as this. Really like the skin on the Ogres especially, and that arm is awesome; like a cyborg Ogre!

Yes, as you can see, I replaced the barbarian's sword and went for a Conan-like warpaint.



Magician's eyes are kind of shiny and very magic-looking



How do my dark elf anti-heroes (first you beat them, then you can play as them) look next to the main four?

Very nice work! You mentioned that you’re using a 3D print for the bases, and aren’t stealing old bases. What is the 3D print that you’re using for the bases on the Witch elves? And did you use FDM or resin?

Finally, they have invaded the depths of the HQ dungeons! Chaos dwarves!



I always loved the old school babylonian/syrian/etc aesthetics and silly big hats back then, but never got to collect them (I was an undead nerd). But after resurrecting my old HQ, I finally commissioned a few from my 3D-printing friend. Horns + whiter beard = squad leader (sort of like the orc with the bigger sword).

Old plastic model from Warhammer Quest / Talisman as far as I know, rebased for HQ. He doesn't look to uncomfortable between the bearded dude and the crazy witch....



...or among heroes, or anti-heroes. Both the witch and the sorceress come from the same assorted plastic set.
