That works. I'll just cut the bottom tab off and buy a lot of HQ style bases.

Finally managed to see those Beowulf minis up close and personal compared side by side.
They are good sculpts.
But TINY.
About the size of the grunts from Conquest of Nerath, or Runewars minis.

Anyone have any Elven Warriors or ANY random tabletop minis that look like it? Willing to sell or trade?

Many of us are fans of the GW Glade Guard.

You get at least 3 right handed sword arm (I think 4) and one left handed sword arm (possibly more). You also get short swords for the belts, and it looks like you can position the empty right arm such that it is reaching to draw a sword.

So from this set you should be able to assemble sufficient proxy elven warriors and elven archers.
Has resigned from the forum and would delete his account if he could.

Cool. What's a glade guard?
Where would I find a set for purchase?

I used the older Wood Elf models, I think they are very much in keeping with the original Heroquest figures.

Pretty easy, and a lot of fun, to convert to swordsmen too. I have 3 of each.

A friend of mine is getting rid of a BUNCH of HeroScape minis. I'm going to go through and see if any are remotely compatible as replacements or extras.
I'll be sure to post pics of any minis I pick out and comparisons with the HeroQuest minis they're replacing or getting paired with.

Here are two CITADEL models I'd like to use to represent Kessandria and Skullmar.
They still need a paint stripping and repaint plus a better base (HQ style).
