Now if I could afford to have someone paint my minis up like that, I'd have them all painted, even the Mage of the Mirror and Frozen Horror minis.

Sure would! My li'l sis actually painted up a few of my Gobs and Heroes. You can see them here:
Squirm's Minis
The gobs were the first minis she ever painted. She did a whole set of them. Then the three heroes (four, but never finished the Elf). Then I convinced her to try making a Gargoyle look like stone. Unfortunately for her, my poor photography skills doesn't do them justice. Them gobs are pretty sweet and that Dwarf is superb. Mayhaps one day, I'll try taking better shots of them. *adds to the to-do list*
