Yep Sjeng hit it bang on the head.
I've got massively old school with the paint jobs as the game is old school and feel it's suits the minis better.
Khorne is indeed the god of war and his followers all wear blood red armour in tribute for blood for the blood god.

Nurgle is the god of decay and dieseses. Sometimes known as Grandfather Nurgle as he loves and nurtures all his little plagues and illnesses right down to an uncommon cold.
Rusted dirt caked greens are his colour of choice all pus coloured and bloated with dieseses are his followers.

Tzeentch is the god of magic and change and is in constant flux.
Many of his followers are bird like in appearance and choose blues and yellows as their colours swirling like the winds of magic themselves.

Slannesh is the youngest of the four gods and is all about indulgence and pleasure gained in any form be it purely pleasurable or through pain.
Black and pastel pinks and purples are their colours which they wear in an asexual way seeming neither man or woman more a combination of both.

Medusa.

It's an old Night Horrors mini, that I had lying around and thought she'd work in the dungeon world of Heroquest.

To add to all this. Khorne is also closely associated with brass.

Yep GK is right gold and brass are also favoured by the followers of Khorne.

I got hold of the Medusa from BONES minis - the artist copied the original Clash of the Titans (1981, for you young whipper snappers who were thinking 2010).

Just gotta get her painted now. Skillfully.
