The dolphins are grey, inside the white areas.
The asian girl seems to spread her legs, but it's actually the back of the chair.
The ball has always been simply a self portrait of Escher in the reflection of the ball as far as I know. I've never heard of anything else in that picture...

Oh, I see now :P

Bad picture again.

looks good so far. hard to tell from the pictures. but looks like a little slippage on the red of the eyes. all in all if you have 400 minis to paint. then this is a great level of quality to go for...unless of course you intend on taking as long as i do. and then you might be done in 40 years

yeh ive got so much queued up to be painting...but alas same old story i get sidetracked with something. (sculpting in this case) ive also got those same night goblins that im dying to get painted up too. and a ruck load of skaven. im probably in the same boat as knightcrawler with the amount of mini's ive got that need painting..and that isnt being helped by the fact im making more lol

I think there's a drop of green wash on the right eye. Can be fixed. The picture swallows much of the detailing and highlighting on the cloak.
I'm very satisfied with the dirty black look and the skin color choice.
Wasn't fast, though.
Also, the moon on the shield will receive both shade and highlight. It's too flat yellow for my taste.
Thanks, Sjeng and amp.

I added those images to show that you can have something look different than it really is. Such was the example of the chubby thighs. I know that 2D and 3D are different but I felt the same idea applied making it appear as if there was more detail or it looked better than it actually is. The more painting I do the more it seems a few extra highlights in the right spots make it seem like it's way more detailed than actually is.

Knightkrawler is making progress. At 1-3/4 of an hour for 200 minis you're looking at painting around 14.5 days straight. That's why I mentioned before about base color priming for a lot of minis. Figure out which color is most prevalent and prime in that. The expense of the can will be saved in frustration not experienced.

I half-proudly present to you my Gargoyle in brass statue state.
Two not-so-perfect pictures. The original looks better.

The base is not done, I'm thinking about a marble platform.

As nobody gives feedback (guys, you're killing me here; how many of you have me on your ignore lists?), everybody seems to pollute the atmosphere with their psi-vibes asking me how I did it.
Primed black, drybrushed a dark bronze over it, foncentrating on where the sun would shine, very lightly drybrushed a medium brass over that for highlighting and washed it with green Ral Partha ink.
Over the following few days I stared at it for a combined two hours to find out if I was satisfied. I might give it another brass drybrush to eliminate high spot inking like that on the left side of the headgear thingie.
