This is why (I assume) a guy like tasoe buys a particular generation of minis and puts them on those same bases.

Second this point and agree with the comment in general - I have two sets of fantasy figures - One for Warhammer Quest, the other Heroquest. My biggest challenge is not poaching from one for the other with heroes and minions that I like haha.

Are they slightly rounding along the edges? :S
And not to the same degree. Something seems to have gone wrong here.

also is this the final design? They are not getting adjusted to resemble the HQ bases more closely?

Awesome.
Goblin-King, you can see the horizontal rounding we were talking about, especially well between the third and fourth from the left.
And looking at this I don't even care so much anymore if they curve towards more thickness towards the middle.

Are we still at 20p per base? For the non-traditional styles as well? Cause there's three variants in there I'd probably buy.

This is what it looks like to me:

9000+ hours in photoshop
Image
Maybe the picture is playing tricks, but it looks like the top part is a little flatter and further away from the edge.
The bevels on both parts also seem too sharp.

Maybe it's just because I'm looking at a 3D rendering instead of holding it in my own hand. But it really looks off to me.
Am I the only one who sees this?

I'm not trying to be a douche here! I'm really trying to be constructive! :bites-lip:

You're dot a douche. I see it as well. The sharpness of the picture's replicas looks ogrebasy to me.
If that can be rounded out they're gonna be perfect, if not, then they'll be awesome and buyable.

I can live with that style because for painting and marking it gives me a lot of possibilities (see Sjeng's heroes to see what I mean).
For the sake of replicism the edges should be rounded out as G-K suggests.

Just admit that even if they aren't to your kingly standards that you'll buy them either way.
