The Witch Lord fig is a solid choice. Here's the one I went with:

I prefer the helmed head as opposed to the bare skull for the Witch Lord, just feels like he should have a helmet/crown.

How much did that one cost?

I bought him in metal quite a few years back for around $8, but now he's available as a $2.79 Bones fig!

Showdown35, could you post pics of your Witch Lord mini next to the other HeroQuest minis?
Preferably the heroes, and maybe one of the big monsters like the Gargoyle?
For scale comparison.

Here you go.
They're clearly not heroic scale. But they're basically the right height.
Here's the Witch Lord and Skulmar.

I like that female barbarian!! And also that mini you used to represent Skulmar is nice, but I think it is a bit too muscled.
Also I think the skeleton on the left of the Witch Lord on the USA box cover is a better Skulmar:

Oh... and for the Witch Lord there is a custom sculpt ;) :

Either his legs look a bit too short or his body too wide, although it could quite easily be the perspective of the camera angle.
I would definitely consider getting one for myself if they are available for purchase.

Anyone familiar with Beowulf the Movie Board Game?
What size are the minis?

Haven't been aware of that one. The minis are either too small or have so little detail and character that you'll be badly disappointed once you put them next to a real miniature.
They look like 1984, not 2007.

Well... they've got enough detail to suit my purposes.
I just need to know their size.
Thanks.

Edit/Update...
I checked out the site I had posted a link to. Bought a few minis just to see.
They're cheap flimsy plastic and REALLY small.
I was mislead by the person I heard from on boardgamegeeks.
I deleted the link because these minis aren't worth the consideration.
If any of you saw this post previously and followed the link, I'm sorry.
Don't buy any of these.
