thanks to both of you for your positive comments!
Sjeng, it really is all about practising and trying new things. Shadows on the skin I made using a simple black wash and the look awesome.
A couple of months back and I could never imagine painting that.
The hole in the pants I never noticed myself before, but I looked at the image at the box and took the hint.

Allright. I still do need to wash my zombie as well, but first he needs some small touchups on the belt, the eyes and that hole in his pants. Then I'll wash him, and see how it turns out.

this is such a strange miniature. Even painted very well he looks weird. Well, at least I have a good example to copy :P

My only issue is that the DS wizard has a short sword in his possestion.
Paint job is spiffy.

Painting him in familiar hero quest style is genius. Makes it blend in much better.
