[Goblin-King]

The worm looks great. While the acid is very novel, the thing that caught my eye was the superb use of colors.
The blending from yellow to pink to purple looks really good.

I was positively surprised by that, too.
The Reaper Bones PVC made it possible for me to - without having primed the figure -
wetblend the three colors (a yellow-beige, a tanned skintone, and a violet) straight out of the pots thickly and directly on the surface, then shade and tint and then edge-highlight,
everything with a cheap humongous size 8 filbert brush.

I think it was the Reikland Fleshshade that I first used thinly over the yellow belly parts, allowing it to flow into the pinkish skin folds,
and then again, but thicker out of the pot directly in the pink*.
I then did the same thing with Druchii Violet, first thinly and mixed with a little Carroburg Crimson in the pink where it blends with the violet, and then thicker and unmixed in the violet.

It was paradise, that figure. I won't vouch for the smaller human-detail figures from the Bones line,
but the bigger figures with smoother surfaces are really fun to paint, at least with my style.

I wonder how the rules work for a worm in a dungeon, do they just move underground anywhere and pop up next to a hero to attack? Keep the pictures flowing!

There are lots of bricks on the base so I probably does pop out wherever it wants.
KK can't you just take pictures of the actual model and put some cartoony filter on them in an editor. That way you don't get different styles from around the web, if you want to make monster cards for them all.

That "unique" factor is the highest form of praise and in and of itself alone reason enough to paint miniatures. Or create any art form, for that matter. Thank you very much!

I have some monsters that will not move through squares, but rather through rooms.
A Ratswarm will in actuality take two squares that cannot be occupied by other figures, but the rats will be considered to "fill" the room, the actual mini being a token, so to speak. It moves through open doors, one room or corridor section (see my rules) per round (if at all) and attacks every figure in the same room/corridor section.
I think I'll apply that to the Caerworm as well, but a closed door will not keep it from moving to another room, and I guess it can borrow up to three rooms distance per round. Or something like that.
So yourself and Schmidt are guessing right:

That might not be a bad idea. Worth trying, at the very least.

Tu Monster cards are the least useful thing in the Gamebox so why not just having the stats in the quest notes. They are very often there anyway for special monsters.

I won't bother with cards until I'm absolutely sure and am quite done with everything else, which will be, frankly, never.
I see it like you Anderas, but cards would still be nice for a collection, that's all.

My new Orc Shaman, figure from Avatars of War.
Flock is too crude to represent moss, I'm gonna use pigments next time. Yet, I like the color of this flock as a contrast, whatever it may be.
