Well, Monday I was again with my tabletop friends, after having not having time the last weeks. I showed them the Zealot website and at least one has a quite a long wishlist now, but will have the money only in may. We would like to order together, so is the Elf & Wizard sale still valid in may?
Have a look ;)

I been meaning to bring this up since I got the bases, and figured it could be something worth sharing with everyone. The bases I got from you were largely okay, but a great deal of them required actual heavy-duty sanding to level out. I wasn't expecting perfectly smooth across the board, but some of them were so ridden with air-bubbles they snapped during filing. This is not a complaint, necessarily, and its not a call-to-arms. I just want to share my method for casting resin pieces so that they have smooth tops.

If a two-part mold is required for a smooth surface, but we only have one-part molds, then logically one one-part, and the bottom of the other, are also a two-part mold. When I cast resin or plaster in Hirst Arts molds, I always slightly overfill each mold and then gently stack another mold of the same size and shape on top of them. No scraping with a paint-scraper, or any of that *lemony goodness*.
