Hi all

First post to show off the Statuesque Adventurers I've just finished. Just lovely figures - some of the nicest I've ever laid a brush on to be honest. Anyway, enough sycophancy. Just buy a set and enjoy them yourselves :D

Well, fraggle me sideways! Is this your painting or the endorsement job by someone awesome?

They're metal and they're by me. Not affiliated to the company in any way - just love the figures and wanted to spread the joy :D

Then you, sir, are the best painter here. Nice blendings, bold, beautiful highlighting. Just awesome.

Holy lemony goodness! That doesn't even look like painted miniatures. It looks like a canvas painting of painted miniatures! :o (closest we have for a jaw-drop smilie)
Do you live near me? I'd like to send you my minis for painting.

I'm still not over this. Every color is highlighted with an offwhite, no matter how dark the base, and yet the blending is so smooth.
Complementary/contrast color shading, different textures (the wizard's cloak looks like thick satin), warm-cold-contrasts, NMM (looks like TMM - rarely achieved by anyone)...

One question: How do you blend? Bonamant style? Two-Brush-Blending? Wet into wet?
How?
