Finished painting the Skeletons and Mummies fully including the second pass final touches and bases. Here they are:

Going to hopefully finish base coating and shading the Fimirs tonight and get started on highlights tomorrow.

Wow...it's been two months since I've been able to paint. Had a lot of move related and family related setbacks since the last post but finally got some time to sit down and put some paint to minis. I picked up where I left off with the Fimirs.....but all of my green paints were horribly separated and no matter how much I shake them they kept being runny/watery. This only demoralized me further so I decided to throw caution to the wind and improve morale by jumping to the best part of the base set....THE HEROES!! I have thus begun the basecoating process, again staying true to the card art.

Well, more set backs...but I had some time this week to work on the heroes. And I actually managed to finish them!

Here's the 2020 attempt:

And here's the new paint job:

Don't know what's next as I still have to restrip the zombies and fimirs and try again. But it may be some time until the next proper update.

Well done! Usual but effective lore colours for heroes! (Same scheme -but not quality- as mine!)

Thanks! Yeah, I'm following the card art as close as possible. The Dwarf was actually the hardest to paint because the picture on the card has no detail on it, it's just dark and brown. It's a straight up cutout of the White Dwarf mascot from a magazine cover, you can even see the bits of red from the background color, which a lot of people end up using to paint some red on his clothes. I like your dwarf's lighter color scheme over mine.

Yeah, due to such reason I decided to take some colour scheme freedom for the Dwarf. The character card one was too dark for me but of course it is also good too.
