I was under the impression that the dwarf wasn't even finished. You never said as much. Everything I said was fair criticism. I did used to design and produce these things professionally.

got a little update for you guys wanting to get your hands on the dwarf i made up.
Thantos has kindly taken him off my hands and sent me an update today of him ready to go into the mould process.

He will be available via Zealot miniatures on a limited forum based ' first come first serve' basis. ill leave this in Thantos' hands however my only request is for the forum members that wanted one to be able to get their hands on him :). i'm sure Thantos will be able to inform better upon successful casting.

also a little update from me as ive been knocking the wizard to get to not look like such a whiny little b****h! :)
the picture below stands at 30mm tall with eye level at 28mm...which i believe to be the correct proportions for a 28mm scale figure...i dunno. all i know is he is about 75% finished and im quite enjoying the frustrations of learning to sculpt figures :)
i seem to have the head making process nailed down pretty good. however eyes are still a bane of my existence!! lol

From this angle, the right arm appears to be a tad too straightly stretched. Slightly overbent forward at the elbow in a way that would be hurtful to the mini because the hand is bent downwards.
It might be just a feeling, but there you go.

The dwarf is awesome. What price are we talking about?
Though I would much prefer a full set of alternate heroes sculpted by amp...

Is straightly even a word?

its the angle. the arm is bent to accomodate the weight of the staff. it just looks straight from that angle.
the hand also isnt fixed and is multi part to allow potential casting in future. the figure isnt finished by the way..i did mention the figure wasnt finished right? ;)

Could a full set be sold to forum members for less money than others? Shipping costs, you know what I mean ;)

as stated in an earlier post. i only made these for myself. the fact others wanted the dwarf was a nice gesture. however im no miniatures sculptor. im merely just trying. the dwarf being my first ever attempt at a 'full' sculpt. i have no need to be making the barbarian as i already have one.. as to whether or not the elf and wizard even get finished let alone become available i guess is based on how many people want the dwarf when Thantos runs the figure through. i guess if there is a demand then maybe yeh the others will become available. i guess we shall see....as for the barbarian. i have no plans as of yet.

Nice job with the wizard so far, the in the process of casting a spell pose is great.

With regards to the fantastic Dwarf sculpt - he will be offered to Inn forum members FREE :D This is as a gift from Ampersand, not me - im just casting them. All people have to do to get one, is cover the cost of postage.
There will be a limited amount of freebies, so keep your eyes peeled for when you can put your claim in for one. ;)

Will be cleaning it up a bit and pouring some rubber tonight.
