Nice one! You could always add the text "may not be used by the knight" on the armoury items he can't use :)

Just a heads up; you should check Khorosho-Productions latest post - he just finished the full suite of heroes; wizard, elf, dwarf and barbarian.

Lovely work as ever.

I’ve been enjoying adding new models to my collection lately. The hunting about eBay for the right era and scupltor (Kev Adams and friends), basing and painting. It’s been good fun. My best find was this Minotaur model 2 weeks ago:

Always check the room before opening a chest..

I discovered this Minotaur by a Marauder sculptor from the late 80′s. The piece is brilliant, the perfect pose that suits Heroquest figures so well. In finishing him, I finalised all my beastmen models for the furry additions to my minions.

Completing several Orc and Goblin pieces next :)

Wow that is a really nice looking miniature, you're good at finding these aren't you? :D And the painting is as awezome as always ;) How much does these minis of your favourite sculptors cost on Ebay?

That does fit in quite well. I'd love that for my own HQ set.

Thank you TMU and IvenBach :)

Hmmm cost.. well, I can be at once economical, yet impulse buyer. I would say an average for key unique models would be $7AUD average. The Minotaur cost me $9AUD plus $6 postage - being lead I requested extra P+P so he arrived unmarred - which has happened too often. My Orc "Thespian" prisoner/mind-control/wanderer/villager NPC model has damage to his lip so I am on the look out for a replacement.

If you want this Minotaur yourself - eBay search words are: Marauder, Minotaur, OOP (In fact as of this post, there's two up for grabs on eBay.com.au worldwide)

Generally Kev Adams (Orcs and Goblins especially), and early Marauder miniatures have the closest Heroquest style, particularly when I am being specific with Monsters. Heroes have more leeway as I am not needing to conform them too a horde.

I certainly admire more modern figures being thrown in, but I'm a nostalgia nut - so having something that looks 'original' appeals :)

Cheers!~

I'm working on a mini collection for three styles.
First, HQ minis and proxies in a clean simple style (DarkWorld, D&D board game, Warhammer old metal and plastics)
Second, proxies in a new, detailed style (DarkSword, Confrontation, Hordes, Warhammer new multi-part plastics and many many others)
Then, once I'm finished with this, and overlappingly, of course (I'm a freakin' collector! I know no bounds!) Retro 25mm Citadel/Marauder, basically Seb's style, that is.
