These are test objects. Much too lazy to trim down anything.

The test is quite successful, I think they are a bit better than my first attempts a couple of years back.
I wouldn't want to point out anything in particular. I'm sure that when you "need" to, you'll add stripes to scythes and weapons, take time to trim the bases and so on.

One thing I'd like to point out, but only cause I've seen many many painters miss it, is the fact that the mummy's left knee is actually showing through the bandages.
I just note it for future use, or for others that may have missed it in their figures.

Thx, tasoe! Your level that you have now is not even the goal. All in all, I find the results, in particular the orc and the skeleton, encouraging.
Techniques I'll figure out. Thanks all for the tips, I hope I can get somewhere.

Your fimir has a little bit too much mascara. Other than that it looks fine. Your Chaos Warrior is hard to see in this picture but seems good. Your Orc looks good.

Is there a bright lamp to the right or did you make some totally awesome lightning effects on the chaos warrior?

I see what you mean. There's a lamp, but the round little plate on the armor, which I painted brass, reflects in that second awesome looking spot.
I'm not one for these effects just yet.
