Thanks! I'll certainly keep at it. Hopefully some day I won't be the only one filling in the blanks and we'll gain some support from the rest of the community.

Before my email was even sent I was given a link that "may answer my question":

Hero Quest Expansion Packs
Question:
Where can I purchase the game Hero Quest or obtain replacement parts for it?

Answer:
The game Hero Quest is not currently in production. We are, therefore, unable to assist you in identifying retail markets which may still have this product in inventory nor do we have any available for direct sale. We also do not have any replacement parts available for the game.

That's similar to the answer that was in Agin's Inn's FAQ when someone contacted Hasbro. Another test was worth it. You never know. The person at the other end may have been misinformed, or a totally different subsidiary of MB may have been contacted. I figured it was worth a shop. In the very least, it shows a continued need for the product. Even though they won't ever produce it again.

You think with its popularity and the popularity of like games that it would be wise to re-release it or release revamped version of it or something.

HeroScape seems to be their latest attempt into the genre.

I haven't bothered with heroscape. I'm not big on prepainted figs.

I never purchased any either, the model quality I find poor. Like that of a cheap action figure. That, and it's just not HeroQuest.

I have many times thought about purchasing some of the figures, just to have some variety and 'extras', but I agree with drathe, the quality just isn't there.

I agree with drathe on the cheap action figure look. Thats what I thought when I first saw them. Reaper recently came out with pre painted plastics based off of some of their metal models, called Legendary Encounters. I think they are supposed to be of pretty good quality if you are looking for cheap extra figures.
