A Game of Thrones: The Card Game

Has anyone played A Game of Thrones: The Card Game? We have been thinking about getting a card game like Thunderstone but as someone in the family already has it and because we love ASoIaF and GoT we thought we'd look into this. I've also found that there's a 2nd edition out or coming out this year and would happily wait for it if it streamlines things.

Clearly sounds deep which as the reviewer says, could be it's problem but it still sounds interesting.

Bah! If it was really a Game of Thrones card game then the rules would be predictable.

1. The coolest characters die immediately after you get them and you can never use these cards again.

2. If a crappy character is killed (Jothrey) then an equally crappy character will take it's place (Tommen).

3. Cerci and Sansa cannot be killed, and once drawn must remain in your hand and alienate your coolest cards (forcing you to discard one per turn of your oponent's choosing)

4. John Snow trumps everything. He's not Ned's bastard son, he is his nephew, and a Barathion or Targarian and either way, he will be king!

5. It must be played in the nude.

It's a bit more involved than I expected but I wasn't expecting something simple.
