Dragon Quest Rulebooks and Cards

Postby Malcadon » September 17th, 2014, 3:46 am

I have been looking for Dragon Quest scans far years. Only recently was I able to find the rulebook, a few cards and the fold-up figures though Board Game Geek, but not the Adventure Book, or the rest of the cards. Then I just found scans of everything on a video game museum side called The Museum of Computer Adventure Game History. They have a lot of game books (Lone Wolf, Fighting Fantasy, etc.), video games, some PRG books, and some board games.

There are a number of scanned files, but bulk of it are video game manuals for old games. You are not going to find a lot in the way of RPG or game book scans. Still, its great to finally find all the cards for Dragon Quest, and three great scans of rulebooks!

Enjoy! 8-) |_P

I had no idea Dragon Quest used cards like that. If you can get your hands on any of the TSR
factory sets (there are three of them - 1991, 1992, 1993), you'll have a WHOLE MESS of monsters,
treasures, and characters you can use for the game. The cards from the factory sets are designed
the exact same way.

Look on ebay, there are always a few on there. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for any of them, though.
That's about the most expensive I've seen them actually sell for. MAYBE $50 it they're sealed.
