I am 5 games into the campaign as the Empire. The game might seem weighted in favor of the heroes, as I have only won the first game, but two other games literally came down to a single dice roll.

Super fun but I had to initiate a 2 minute timer for hero turns... there was much pointless deliberation about every single action.

I'd rate the game 7 out of 8 orcs.

*sigh* now I want it... Well, let me first play Descent 2nd, see how I like it, then buy SW:IA at Essen.

Oh, I thought you were going to play the 3 DnD board games, then paint your Bones and Zombicide minis and then play D. 2nd before buying the SW games ;)

Last saturday we played 2 games, I (the Empire) lost both, but could've easily won the first game (I didn't use all my powers as to discourage the 2 newbie players who had to figure everything out at once).
The second mission was the Diala Passil mission that has Darth Vader. Beating Vader is nearly impossible if the Imperial player doesn't spend any Threat points (so I did spend them to make things a bit easier).

Why wait 'till Essen? By then the 7 expansions are also out, plus maybe more expansion/campaign packs. (you want those as well........so you'll have to splash more cash then instead of getting the game now and the expansions as they're released :ugeek: ).

After two more missions, I have collected two more wins against the rebels! The record is now Empire 3 wins, Rebels 4.

One mission, the smuggler's story, seemed weighted in favor of Rebels, but on a whole the game is tense and entertaining. It isn't really about who wins.
