Small Question about Mordheim

Hi!

This is really a simple question, yet I didn't find an answer so far - probably looked in the wrong places. So perhaps one of you experienced Warhammer or Mordheim players can help me out:

Mordheim is set in the years after the year 2000 of Sigmar, this is, about 500 years before the "current era" in the Warhammer world. But what happened to the city of the damned afterwards? What about Mordheim in the times of Warhammer Fantasy Battle?
Does the city still exist? Is it still infected with chaotic radiance? Is there still wyrdstone to take? If so, are there still warbands exploring the ruins?
Or has the curse been lifted some day? Has the city been rebuilt?
Or has it been erased from the old world's surface altogether? By natural means or by human effords?

Well, that's it.
If someone can explain, I'd be grateful.
