I have thought about this before, and if there was an easy way to do it, keeping the integrity of detail of a miniature with the quick pop and click changeable aspect of Lego, then I would be straight into my CAD stuff designing, 3D printing and on kickstarter as that would make a mint!

Have you guys seen these custom Heroica rules?

https://greygnome.files.wordpress.com/2 ... ca-pdf.pdf

A lot of good though has gone into them--reminds me of our custom rules here at the Inn :D

Or a Dwarf figure with Chainmail, Helmet and Battleaxe, only actually having a shortsword?

Apparently. But to be fair that is why I collect minis, so I have a good representation for each situation. But many people don't collect, so I can kind of see their niggles to an extent.

They could always get the old Dark World heros and use them instead :P
Nah, but seriously though!

I think Lego weapons could just fit into these bulky little bastards.

Now I miss my old 80's castle legos. My kid digs legos... but they kind of annoy me now. They don't have big blocky wall pieces to quickly build a castle/fort/hideout. They have millions of tiny fiddly pieces to build a working internal combustion engine. Way too much detail and tiny pieces in the sets now. And no sets that are...just basic...castles!

Image

EDIT: Looks like they have some castle sets on amazon now. Almost going back to 'basic' and not so overly thematic or with too many teeny complicated pieces. That makes me happy. I have yet to see it in a store, though... including my local lego store! It's been a good while since I've seen some sets like this!

I think the Lego castles range is just for us old fogies. look on the Lego website to see more.

On a different note; why is no-one calling it "Lego Erotica"? Disappointed in you guys for not noticing that gem of a joke!

Anyone heard from Decipher yet?

I extracted the proverbial (as is common amongst friends where I grew up), Decipher took it badly and rage-quit the forum.
