Isn't the Stormcast Eternal like 8, 9, or 10+ feet tall? It appears the classic scale is broken for this game (and forevermore for GW).

The Warrior Priest looks cool except for the cheesy AoS lightning bolts. @Ampersand, you will trim/shave this and paint incredible details instead?

I really don't like anything else I see here. My rant continued (barbarian looks like a dude from Mad Max, etc.), but when it comes to GW I just feel like Nancy Kerrigan... "Why? Why? Why?"

KK is right. They don't want to sell you this game. It will be a limited run. They want you to be sucked into the AoS universe.

What GW needs to do is fire everyone who thinks the current stuff is good and make Ampersand an offer he cannot refuse. Not to sculpt (we don't need more 11 fingered models ) but to provide solid classic genre artistic direction (with a modern perspective on females actually wearing armor). The blog post on th quest for the perfect barbarian miniature is all he would need for a resume.

lol i wont be touching these heroes other than a quick paint job. ill be swapping them out for heroes i prefer to have.
silver tower for me is all about the bad guys. whilst i do have it on pre-order. i think its solid strength will be in future expansions. it could well end up sitting on my shelf never being used. but the denizens will at least be getting run outs in my AHQ games.

Ill probably pick up some of the minis from bits websites The game doesnt have the classic fantasy dungeon vibe to it that i like. Although could be more fun if its open to customization of quests and characters etc.

I'm just being silly. I still subscribe to the "Thanos's casting process left extra flash on this model" school of thought. Don't go confessing and wreck it for me!

If you see these new models (the demons and monsters) fitting into your HeroQuest universe, then I would be an idiot not to give them a second look. Perhaps the value is there in this box?

The main problem with the new WHQ is that it doesn’t have the RolePlaying Book. The old WHQ without the RolePlaying Book (without the stores, the rules between adventures, the leveling, the tables of monsters) was not better than the new one.

They say that a roleplaying book will follow as a separate product. So, if this isn’t just rumors, it could be a start of a new era.
