Ye Olde Inn

For those of you who've been trying to visit the Inn over the last five days will know that the Inn burnt down. Hell, the whole village was on fire! Some time-turning magic was cast and everything has been restored prior to the catastrophe.

Our Webhost suffered a major outage that took out all of their servers. It took out their backup system... and their secondary backup system. Luckily their third backup system was offsite and intact. It's taken a while given that they have 10 servers with tens of thousands of clients. They are only ½way through their restoration but the Inn was on one of the servers restored today. We may have suffered up to 24 hours of loss as their back up was from the night before the outage, but I'll take it! Their backup was newer than my most recent backup... *makes current backup just in case*

That explains EVERYTHING. I though my job blocked the site today. Man that was close. Nothing like joining the barbeque.

Glad it's back! My F5-button is showing severe signs of wear ... . I missed all the fireworks, though ... Balur is gone again, I guess?
