Hey everyone, I came up with this as a way to introduce spiders to my quests stats would be: move(6) Attack(3/3) Defend (3) Body(1) Mind(1). Let me know what you think, if anyone finds any of my ideas interesting feel free to use them.
spider. The spider is represented on the quest sheet as an undiscovered trap. If a hero searches for a trap in the area/room as a spider, Zargon will say that you see webbing on the tile where the spider is located.
A hero may destroy the web by attacking it. rolling two or more skulls on their role destroys the web. If a hero attacks and roles less than two skulls the hero’s turn is immediately over and the spider attacks. Fire may be used to immediately destroy the web.
If a hero succeeds in destroying the web, immediately place the spider on the board and allow the heroes to finish their turns.
If a hero stumbles on the web without destroying it first, the hero becomes entangled in the web. The hero’s turn is over and roles one less dice in attack and defense for as long as the hero remains trapped.
A hero may free his/herself on their turn, they can roll two red dice, if the combined total is equal to or less than the hero’s starting body points the hero has cut themselves free and is no longer trapped in the web.
spider attack. If the spider afflicts damage to the hero with their first attack, the spider then attempts a second attack, with their second fang. If both attacks damage the hero, the hero is injected with a hemotoxic venom.
If the hero finds themselves envenomated they must roll one combat dice on each of their next three turns. If a hero role’s a skull they take one body point of damage. Instances of envenomation are cumulative. A hero can immediately recover from envenomation if they drink a poison antidote.
