You could try printing my Evil Wizard Event Deck:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/m4fkz1rb32o3 ... 2wKaa?dl=0

They have numerous events that don't modify the existing creatures, such as returning patrols etc.

Great to hear you're back playing HQ!

It seems Freewebs has stopped hosting the HeroQuest Revised Edition webpage. It can't be found anymore.

Oh no! That's terrible!
Also, the page was literally up yesterday.

Hopefully slev finds out his page disappeared and fixes it, although I suspect real life may be tying his hands...

Yeah, and Slev hasn't been online here since april either, so there's no information about what's going on either.

Hi all!

Apologies for my absence. RL threw me a doozy of a time. Won't bore you all with the details of my personal life, but I am now getting on with this!

The site should be back up (no clue what happened there), and I've updated ALL the books, and added an extra one (Elf Quest Book).

Wow thats cool, you got more quest books done! I really like your books and how you use the original board as the map, it adds so much!

Maurice76 wrote:Took me a few weeks, been busy with other stuff, but today I managed to squeeze in some time to start reviewing the remaining stuff: the AHQ material ;). So far I've been up to and through the Advanced Hero Spells. Will post my notes when I am through all of it. Might be tomorrow, but no promises ;).

Update: here it is! Hopefully this should cover most of the remaining typo's and spelling errors ;).

Some of the errata entries below are empty, save for the word "None!", but this is just to indicate that I have reviewed the material in that section and found no flaws in its texts.

Thx for this! Very helpful!

Maurice76 wrote:Wizard's Grimoire: given that this item concerns the Wizardry Spell Group, shouldn't this item be Wizard Only? Furthermore, this Artefact works identical to the Wizard Lore Skill. What happens when a Wizard uses both this Artefact and the Skill? Does he get to keep 4 extra spells when selecting the Wizardry Spell Group or 2 extra when he doesn't select it?

Yes, it stacks in a very literal sense!

Maurice76 wrote:Gunner & Marksman: both skills do the same, but their method of acquisition is different. One is bought and Dwarf only, the other is inherent to becoming Dwarf Champion. Is it intended that the Dwarf can therefore get both of these together?

Yes, they can stack, if you want to specialise.
Maurice76 wrote:Dagger Fighting & Rain of Blades: these skills have the same effect, which doesn't stack. However, Dagger Fighting costs 5 points, while Rain of Blades costs 8. Besides Dungeon Points, there is no other difference between them. Either Rain of Blades was not intended to grant it with Daggers, or this Skill duplicity is an oversight.

No, these stack. You end up with Rage 2.

Maurice76 wrote:Grab & Swift Recovery: these skills have the same effect, which doesn't stack. However, Grab costs 3 points, while Swift Recovery costs 7. Besides Dungeon Points, there is no other difference between them. Either one of these skills was intended to be used for another weapon, or this Skill duplicity is an oversight.

You can have both, giving you two opportunities to use the ability during each Quest.

Maurice76 wrote:Master Archer & Swift Shot: these skills have the same effect, which doesn't stack. Master Archer costs 5 points, while Swift Shot costs 9. There seems to be no other distinction between them; I can't think of another weapon class that it could apply to, however, so I assume this is a duplication oversight.

You can have both, giving you two opportunities to use the ability during each Quest.

Exactly!

Thx!

It seemed logical in these days of full-colour!

Just updating based on Maurice's feedback, then getting on with the next Quest Book!

Have everything ready to the end of Book 12, just that the maps take a LONG time to make in Photoshop!
