Yay you're back after all! So glad to have you here again.

Sorry to hear about your private life.

You have some catching up to do. I have seen at least three people setting up their stuff based on yours.

One of my players took a picture on the weekend, early in the game.
I'm at the back in my Mist t-shirt!

Re: HeroQuest Revised Edition

That's a lot of dice :P.

Anyway, as per your request, I will post here what I have found so far. Some of it may be considered nit-picking (for instance the 4th entry below about the missing dot), but I figure I can better be as thorough as possible :P. I'll do the cards in the coming time ahead as time allows. For now, here's the list of things I found in the rules & quest books (and as a disclaimer, I probably didn't catch everything; just reviewing it quickly before posting, I caught two more errata :P).

===========================================================================
Revised Edition Rulebook (04-07-2017) Errata
===========================================================================

Page 8, first sentence: "hidden" is double; of the sentence "... a hidden stone labyrinth hidden deep ...", the first "hidden" can be omitted.

Page 8, second sentence: in "This maze ... are controlled ...", the "are" should be "is", as the maze is the subject of the sentence, not the rooms and corridors.

Page 9, third paragraph: "They run the game;" looks odd, in my opinion. Maybe it's better to write it as "This player runs the game;" or similar?

Page 10, first paragraph: the concluding dot at the end of the last sentence is missing.

Page 15: this page lists the various coloured dice. It might be useful to list the various symbol distributions here, for people who either have no access to the coloured (German) dice, or have no clue what they represent. With a known and listed distribution, everyone can always see with what dice the Advanced Rules were designed.

Page 16, third paragraph: It mentions how figures reaching zero mind points are normally removed from the game board. However, page 29, fifth paragraph makes an important exception for when the Heroes are concerned. It might be worthwhile to make a reference here to that exception.

Page 18, third paragraph: "If this line does not pass through ..." is in direct opposition to "... there is no Line of Sight". These two sections contain a double negation where only one should be used. If the line doesn't pass through the mentioned obstructions, there is Line of Sight. Vice versa, if the line passes through any of the mentioned obstructions, there is no Line of Sight.

Page 21, third paragraph: I realise it might be redundant to mention, but blocked square tiles are of course also spaces that may not be entered. It's mentioned in the Dungeon Guide but might be useful to explicitly mention here as well.

Page 22, first paragraph: "who's figure ..." should be "whose figure ..."

Page 24, final paragraph: The sentence "Note that not all Traps may be found by Searching for Traps." could stand to get clarified better. As the sentence stands, it gives no explanation as to which traps may not be found. It would leave room for speculation; for instance that the Evil Sorcerer could keep Traps from being found at will. I assume that what is meant here, though, is that certain Traps cannot be found by searching as dictated by the Quest Notes and/or Dungeon Guide?

Page 25, first paragraph: near the end, it mentions "their figure" without prior mention in that paragraph. While obviously pointing out the figure performing the Disarm Trap Action, it's not explicitly mentioned. The sentence would read better if written as such: "This action may normally only be performed by a figure when there are no Monsters in the Room or Corridor they are standing in."

Page 25, second paragraph: the statement "without a Dexterity score" can be confusing, as this could still imply that 0 counts. The confusion would be less if it stated "without Dexterity" instead. It might also be useful to mention which figures usually have a Dexterity score, i.e. the Heroes and the Scout Man At Arms.

Page 25, third paragraph: it mentions moving the figure onto the trapped tile. Does this require the figure to have any movement left to do so? Or is this a free movement of 1 space? Also, this movement is impossible in the case of trapped furniture.

Page 26, third paragraph: how to handle weapon switching? Can Heroes perform a weapon switch as a free action between weapons they are carrying along?

Page 26, fourth paragraph: It mentions "your figure", while it should be a general statement. It would be better to write this as "the attacking figure" instead.

Page 26, fifth paragraph: Likewise as the previous note. Furthermore, it also excludes diagonally? The way it's written seems to imply as such, but it's somewhat ambiguous, considering how the game differentiates between direct adjacency and diagonal adjacency.

Page 28, first paragraph: the final sentence states "... as the lose points." This should be "... as they lose points." or perhaps even better, "... as they lose either of those respective points."

Page 28, second paragraph: "... which always ..." should be "... that always ...".

Page 28, fourth paragraph: it is worthwhile to mention here that Undead (Skeletons, Zombies, Mummies) are never removed because of zero Mind Points, as they have no mind of their own to begin with.

Page 32, the Search for Treasure Action section: it mentions nowhere how often a room or corridor may be searched. The text hints at multiple times being possible, but it is never mentioned explicitly how much.

Page 32, fifth paragraph: there is a redundant "who" in the second sentence, in "... if any player who Searches for ...", that can be omitted.

Page 37, fifth paragraph: the final sentence ends with "... or use any of it's abilities." The contraction "it's" should be replaced by "its".

Page 38, first paragraph: the first sentence contains "... you exhaust it's power ...". As the previous note, "it's" should be replaced by "its". The same applies further ahead in the same paragraph, at "... or because it's power has been ...".

Page 38, first paragraph: in the middle is a sentence starting with the word "Parhaps", which should read "Perhaps".

Page 39, second and third paragraph: in the second paragraph, it uses the abbreviation "etc" to refer to a logically assumed list. In the next paragraph, it uses the term "et al" for the same reason, while that term is usually only used in scientific papers. It would improve consistency to replace the "et al" with "etc".

Page 40, first paragraph: in "It may be the cast that the Quest ...", the word "cast" should be "case". Also, the sentence is constructed a bit awkward. It would read better as "It may be the case that the Quest calls for a Monster, while all miniatures of that Monster type are already on the game board.".

Page 40, second paragraph: in the sentence "...use a Monster who's abilities are ...", the contraction "who's" should be replaced with "whose".

Page 40, third paragraph: this rule states that healing may not go beyond starting level. However, if the maximum has been raised during the Quest (due to an item, a spell, etc), it should be possible to heal up to the newly defined maximum instead of the starting level.

Page 43, "Overburdened" ability: the description starts with "Hero who is ...". It reads better if it instead started with "A Hero who is ...".

Page 44: "Sequestered" ability: the concept of this ability isn't clear to me. Isn't it simply "Unique"? In other words, the Heroes may only ever carry one item with them with this keyword, across all items they carry?

Page 44, "Weakness" ability: the final two sentences of this ability are structured somewhat odd. It would read better if those two sentences are written as follows: "Multiple sources of weakness applied on the same target do not stack.".

Page 45, fourth paragraph: The word "Otherwise" in the middle of this paragraph looks somewhat ill-placed and can be omitted to increase readability.

Page 52, The Maze map: it is a faithful recreation of the original Maze map, except for one detail: a room is missing. It's the 3x4 room close to the Elf's starting position, next to the blue-tiled 3x5 room. There's a door missing between the 3x5 room and 3x4 room and, more importantly, an Orc is missing. The original Maze quest has an Orc in the 3x4 room.

Page 61, "Advanced Heroes": an omission here is how players are able to spend these Fate points to become Champion. It is one of the Skills, but it would be more consistent to mention that explicitly here. Either refer to the Skill for this, or make explicit note of it.

Page 62, "Dungeon Cards": the way the first two paragraphs are written feel like they should actually be swapped, along with some textual changes. It would read better when written as follows:

"Skill cards possessed by the Heroes will have a number of * in the top right corner. Add all of these together to determine the number the Evil Sorcerer may spend on acquiring Dungeon Cards.

At the start of each Quest, the Evil Sorcerer may select a number of Dungeon Cards from those available up to the determined number and put them into play."

Paragraph three of this section can remain unaltered.

Page 63, "Fate"": the text says there are several ways to spend "Experience points", while the rest of the rules text refers to it as Fate points. This seems inconsistent.

The listing details a second way for Heroes to spend Fate points. However, there are three transient and temporary effects. Considering the price cost of Skills, which are permanent, the cost of these transient and temporary effects seem too high in comparison. It is very likely that players will save up their Fate points for Skills and only spend them on these temporary effects at the most dire of circumstances as a result.

In my opinion, it would be better to split this up in Fate Points and Skill Points. Fate Points can then be spent on these temporary effects (maybe scaled down somewhat or with increased cost, as they're not spent on Skills any more) and Skill Points can be spent on permanent effects in the form of Skills. Acquisition of these new Fate and Skill points happen exactly in the same way as Fate points before: they are gained for each quest completed and for each Monster with the Fame ability killed.

Page 64, second paragraph: near the start is a sentence that reads "... or that a Spell is only useful if case before the turn ...". The word "case" should be written as "cast".

Page 64, second paragraph: near the end is a sentence that reads "...accommodate this rule, you should play close attention to ...". The word "play" should be written as "pay".

Page 65, "Ranged Weapon Upkeep": near the end is a sentence that reads "...have the opportunity to play Upkeep.". The word "play" should be written as "pay".

===========================================================================
Revised Edition Dungeon Guide (04-07-2017) Errata
===========================================================================

Page 6, "Falling Block Trap": the "Effects" text states "Triggering figure are hit as ...". The "are" should be "is".

Page 8, "Hurricane Trap": the "Call" is the one from the "Ambush Trap". It should be replaced with something more suitable, like "You suddenly feel a very strong wind blowing!".

Page 9, "Pit Trap": the "Effects" text states "Triggering figure are hit as ...". The "are" should be "is".

Page 10, "Stalactite Trap": the Effects text is somewhat brief, unlike previous Effect texts. To make it consistent, the Effects text should read as "Triggering figure is hit as ...".

Page 13, "Well of Darkness Trap": the "Call" text has the word "Fallen" with a capital F. For consistency, this should be a normal f.

Page 15, "Fireplace": it states that the Line of Sight is not affected, but this is of course only when the Fireplace is placed along the wall with its long side.

Page 19, "Cloud of Chaos": the description is a bit ambiguous. It should actually contain some instructions for the Evil Sorcerer on how to employ this room tile in a quest. For instance, change the first sentence to "When placing this tile in a room, uniquely number all possible exits with a number from 1 to 5.".

Furthermore, in the middle of the text is a typo, "re-entered" should be "re-enter".

Also, the text "... in the cloud and are attacked as ..." should be "... in the cloud and is attacked as ...".

Finally, the final sentence would probably be better if stated as "Repeat the roll of the die on each subsequent turn, as long as the character remains in the cloud. No other Actions may be performed within the Cloud of Chaos."

Page 20, "Death Mist": the symbol at the Monster movement, directly preceding the "6", is one that is not explained or shown anywhere. The symbol itself is not self-explanatory either. Was another symbol intended here?

Page 20, "Dwarven Forge": the first sentence seems to miss a few words. It should read "Any figure, other than a Dwarf, who ends their turn in a room with this overlay is hit as ...". Also, why does the damage roll include the "Long" symbol, seeing as everyone in the room is getting hit, anyway?

Page 21, "Gallery Room": the damage description is strange. When jumping from the gallery to the stairs or the stairs to the floor, they are hit by 1 non-defendable white die. But if they jump from the gallery down to the floor, they are hit by 1 die as if through a Long attack? Which can apparently be defended against? It would make more sense to make the jump down from the gallery to the floor be equal to 2 (or perhaps 3) non-defendable white dice.

Also, the "." is missing at the end of this section.

Page 24, "Ice Ledge": the final sentence starts as "If the suffer any damage ...", which should be "If they suffer any damage ...". Also, the end of that sentence reads "... and the roll of a ...", which should read "... and on the roll of a ...".

Page 24, "Ice Vaults": the sentence misses a word at the end. "... begin in the room are hit as ..." should read "... begin in the room, they are hit as ...".

Page 25, "Ice Slide": the final sentence contains "... are hit as are hit as ...", where one of those "... are hit as ..." is redundant and should be removed. Furthermore, what is missing here is what happens when a figure slides down the ramp, while the bottom tile is occupied by an other figure.

Page 25, "Icy Rivers": the final sentence contains "... are hit as are hit as ...", where one of those "... are hit as ..." is redundant and should be removed.

Page 26, "Lava Chasm": the effect states "A figure entering the Lava Chasm are hit as ...", which should read "A figure entering the Lava Chasm is hit as ...".

Page 29, "Pit Trap": these details and more are already mentioned on page 9. The "Pit Trap" entry can be removed from this page.

Page 30, "Quicksand": When using a Coil of Rope, does the figure in the quicksand still need to discard items? Is the Coil of Rope spent when using it this way?

Page 31, "River of Corruption": the final sentence is missing a few words. It should read "A figure standing in a River space ...".

Page 31, "Room of Darkness": the final sentence states "... may be the target of a ??? attack.". What is this symbol? It is not explained or detailed elsewhere. The symbol is not self-explanatory either; should this have been a different symbol instead?

Page 32, "Sceptre Room": the final sentence misses a word. Instead of "It explode and each ...", it should read "It will explode and each ...".

Page 33, "Slippery Ice (various sizes)": the hit is shown with a "Long" attack symbol. What functions does it have here? Is this symbol incorrect and should it be the non-defendable symbol instead?

Page 40, "Magic Portal": it is not entirely clear from the explanation, but once it is activated, is it bi-directionally activated? Or can it be active in one direction, but inactive in the opposite direction?

The final sentence seems strange in relation to the sentence directly preceding it. Instead of "The portal will then ..." it should probably read "Once activated, a portal will then ...".

Page 51, "Mystery Chests": just before the table, it says "Otherwise, roll a further ??? on the following chart:". The ??? is the symbol of a white sword, which should be a white combat die instead.

Page 56, "The Inn of Chaos" map: although it has basically 2 layers, it features more Treasure Chests on the ground floor than are available in the game: The ground floor has 5 Treasure Chests.

Page 57, "The Inn of Chaos" Quest text: the descriptive text details a list of regular visitors, separating each by an "and": "... pilgrims and farmers and miners and merchants ...". It reads and sounds better if all but the final "and" are replaced by a comma ","': "... pilgrims, farmers, miners and merchants ...".

Furthermore, halfway through it has the word "Intro", which doesn't seem to be part of the actual text, but a leftover place-holder.

The "D" description: "Damage form this trap ..." should read "Damage from this trap ...".

The "G" description: it mentions that doors to rooms I and G also open, but this seems incorrect. Based on the map, it seems the intended rooms are G and H (with the secret door to room I obviously remaining closed and hidden).

Page 59, the "O" description: the starting sentence says "... source of all the rouble here.". That should read as "... source of all the trouble here.".

Page 63, the "C" description: in the second sentence, the word "Immediately" should be replaced with the word "Whenever" for better readability. Also, the word "Weight" should actually be "Wight".

===========================================================================
Revised Edition Quest Book 1 - The Gathering Storm (04-07-2017) Errata
===========================================================================

Page 11, Quest description "Lair of the Orc Warlord": first sentence has the section "... responsible for a great may wrongs, should ...". The "may" should read as "many".

Page 12/13, "Melar's Maze": description "C" mentions a Treasure Chest, but on the map, the room with the "C" mark doesn't contain a Treasure Chest. In the original quest, the map has a Treasure Chest in the lower left corner of the room.

Page 15, Quest description "Castle of Mystery": halfway through the text is a line that says "... monsters who where trapped in time." The "where" should read "were" instead.

Page 18/19, "The Stone Mage": description "B" mentions an Equipment Rack, while the room with the "B" mark actually contains a Table. The original quest features an Equipment Rack instead of a Table in that room.

Page 26, "The Trial" map: all the symbols placed on this map appear to be of smaller size than on any of the other maps.

Page 27, "The Trial" description "E": the text mentions "treasure chests", while the room actually only contains a single Treasure Chest. This is identical to the original quest.

Page 29, Quest description "Barak Tor - Barrow of the Witch Lord": about halfway in the text is the part "... battled with Morcar in ages pat.". That should be "... battled with Morcar in ages past.".

Page 33, Quest description "Return to Barak Tor": the first sentence tells the players to "... return to Barak To and defeat ...". They should "... return to Barak Tor and defeat ...".

Page 33, "Return to Barak Tor" Advanced Game description: the text says "Once the Witch Lords has been ...", which should read "Once the Witch Lord has been ...".

Page 34, Epilogue text: the first section has the part "Yet seems your task ...", which should read as "Yet it seems your task ..." and it has "... gather at the Empire's boarders...", which should read "... gather at the Empire's borders...". In the next section, "The Emperor road with ..." should be "The Emperor rode with ...", as well as "... and the Boarderlands.", which should be "... and the Borderlands.".

===========================================================================
Revised Edition Quest Book 2 - Kellar's Keep (04-07-2017) Errata
===========================================================================

Page 4, introduction text: the third paragraph ends with the sentence "The greatest if these was Karak Varn.", which should be "The greatest of these was Karak Varn.".

Page 7, "The Great Gate" description "C": while it is only implied here, the original quest text specifies that the Gargoyle doesn't move or act until the trap is sprung and can't be harmed until it has moved or acted. It probably should be IMMUNE to everything until the trap is sprung, after which it becomes a normal Gargoyle.

Page 8, "The Warrior Halls" map: the double hallway at the top, just below the entry door, isn't greyed out, despite being inaccessible. The same applies for the rightmost of the 2x3 small rooms in the bottom left section of rooms.

Page 10, "The Spiral Passage" map: the top right rooms are missing a secret door between them that is present in the original game. There it would enable Heroes getting trapped behind the falling rock (which is likely, if they dive through the first door to dodge the rock tailing them) to still access the rest of the dungeon. The secret door should exist between the two 4x4 room on the right of the top right section of rooms.

Also, the left-most "B" mark, at the left border of the map, just above the Goblin is redundant. It describes that the traps in these halls are so well hidden that only the next one is found, but in that location there is just a single trap.

Page 17, Quest description "The Great Citadel": it has a sentence "You will find then mere in great numbers, ...", which should read "You will find them here in great numbers, ...".

Page 18, "The Eastern Passage" map: the room with Ograk (quest mark "A") is missing a secret door between that room and the 3x5 room adjacent to it. The description of mark "A" on page 19 refers to this missing secret door and it is also present on the original quest map.

Furthermore, the map misses mark "D", while it is described in the text on page 19. Based on that text, it should be in the top right 4x4 room with the Gargoyle.

Page 19, Quest description "The Eastern Passage": the description is actually the one from the original questbook The Gathering Storm, of the quest "The Stone Mage". The correct quest description is missing.

Page 19, "The Eastern Passage" notes: the description of the exits has two sentences that each start with "If the go via door ...", which should read as "If they go via door ...".

===========================================================================
Revised Edition Quest Book 3 - Return of the Witch Lord (04-07-2017) Errata
===========================================================================

Page 6, "The Gate of Doom" map: there is a "B" marker in the top left room, just below the "A" marker. This "B" marker is misplaced and should be removed.

Page 8, "The Cold Halls" map: the hallway tile just outside the top right corner of the revolving room (marker "A") has been highlighted. It should be darkened, as it is inaccessible.

Page 12, "The Halls of Vision" map: the small hallway on the left between the two room sections has been highlighted, while these tiles should be darkened as they cannot be reached.

Page 14, "The Gate of Bellthor" map: the original quest map features a door in the room section in the bottom right, between the room with the two Mummies and the room with the Spear Trap at the door. In this map version, it is missing. Is this intentionally, or an omission?

Page 17, Quest description "The Halls of the Dead": the text for the players is actually the one from the first questbook, "The Gathering Storm", quest "Race from the Dark". The correct quest text is missing.

Page 19, "The Forgotten Legion" description "C": the description for Skulmar describes his means of escape, "... attempt to flee top the ...", which should read "... attempt to flee to the ...".

Page 22, "The Last Gate" map: the entry door into the map is missing. In the original quest, it is situated on the border to the right of the map, directly across from the small hallway leading towards the central room.

I also noticed that a door between the hallway along the right border of the map and the room with mark "B" is missing with respect to the original quest, but I assume this is intentional: it prevents the Heroes from running into The Witch Queen Kessandria from behind or at least prevents them from passing through the dungeon without running into her.

Page 23, "The Last Gate" Wandering Monster: for this quest, it shows it is a Fimir, while the original quest has a Chaos Warrior as Wandering Monster.

Page 25, "The Court of the Witch Lord" description "C": it starts with "Witch Lord stands ...", but it would read better if written as "The Witch Lord stands ...".

===========================================================================
Revised Edition Quest Book 4 - Against the Ogre Horde (04-07-2017) Errata
===========================================================================

Page 4, introduction text: the first paragraphs ends with a mention of "... Ogre dues are vast ...", which should be "... Ogre duels are vast ...".

Page 6, "Search for the Ogre Fortress" map: in the bottom left corner is a mark "D", which details specifics about an Orc there in the quest notes on page 7. However, the actual Orc is missing from the map. It is present in the original quest map. Also, there are two Skeletons in the next room in the original quest, that are missing here.

Page 8, "The Outer Caves" map: the room in the lower right of the upper right room section has a secret door leading into the hallway just above the northern Stone Door there in the original quest map, but here it is missing.

Furthermore, the map is missing all the quest note markers.
"A" should be in the room in the lower right room section with the 2 Zombies and the Treasure Chest;
"B" should be in the room in the top left room section with the 2 Orcs, the Ogre Champion and the 3 Pit Traps;
"C" should be in the central room with the Fimir and the 3 Chaos Warriors;
"D" should be in the room in the top right room section with the 4 Orcs in it;

Also, the room with the 5 Goblins and the Torture Table in the lower left room section has an additional Gargoyle in the original quest, that is missing here.

Last, but not least, the room with the missing "B" mark has a door in the wall on the side towards the hall around the central room in the original quest, which is missing here.

Page 9, quest description "The Outer Caves": the final sentence says "... with the ain of Chaos Warrior ...", which should be "... with the aid of Chaos Warrior ...".

Page 10, "Lair of the Ogre Horde" map: the icon for the Ogre in the lower left corner of the central chamber is misplaced relative to the tile it should be in.

Page 12, "The Carrion Halls" map: both the entrance and the exit doors of this map are missing. In the original quest, the entrance door is on the right border, one tile above the lower of the two secret doors that can be found in this corridor. The exit door is situated on the left border, just outside the room in the bottom left with 3 Chaos Warriors, an Ogre Warrior and a Bookcase.

Also, one of the three Swinging Axe Trap icons at the top border of the map, about halfway through, near the mark "A", is rotated with respect to the other two, which looks a bit strange.

Page 16, "Fortress of the Ogre Lord" map: the room in the bottom left room section with the 3 Chaos Warriors and 2 Goblins in it has a 3rd Goblin in the original quest; it is located in the corner, near the blockade and behind the pit trap. Is its omission here intended or an oversight?

Page 17, "Fortress of the Ogre Lord" description "D": the sentence begins as "If the ...", but it should read "The ...". The "If" is out of place here.

Page 20, "Epilogue" text: the third sentence reads "The men where nervous.", but this should read "The men were nervous.".

Page 20/21, "Epilogue" text: the transition of the pages also implies a transition in time, with the actual battle against the remnants of the Ogre Horde happening in between. That isn't directly clear, from the text however. Perhaps the text on page 21 could begin with something like "The fighting was finally over. Bruised and battered, but still alive, the Heroes were greeted by the grizzled old face of Mentor has he entered their tent."

Page 21, "Epilogue" text: the second sentence reads "Though many where lost ...", which should read "Though many were lost ...". Likewise, the end of the first paragraph says, "... will soon be hale again."; should "hale" read as "healed"?

===========================================================================
Revised Edition Quest Book 5 - Wizards of Morcar (04-07-2017) Errata
===========================================================================

Page 6, "The Tower of the High Mage" map: the Stairwell is missing from the map. It is in the top right room section, in the square room above the room with the 4 Chaos Warriors. Furthermore, this room is missing a secret door leading into the 3x5 room with the Magical Trap.

In the lower left room section, the room with the Fireplace and Magical Trap is missing a door into the hallway to the left of it.

Page 9, "Crypt of the Necromancer" description "A": it has the sentence "It counts as ablocked square ...", which is missing a space in between: "... a blocked ...".

Page 9, "Crypt of the Necromancer" description "D": the actual mark where Fanrax stands, is missing in the notes. Based on the map, it should be "X".

Page 12, "Lair of the Orc Shaman" map: the Stairwell is missing from the map. It is inside the 3x5 room in the top right map section.

Page 14, "The Final Conflict" map: the entrance door is missing. It is positioned along the edge of the southern hallway, in the middle, directly across from the Pit Traps.

Page 15, "Epilogue" text: this is not the epilogue of the Mages of Morcar, but rather the original questbook, The Gathering Storm. The correct epilogue is missing.

You're welcome! Hopefully it will improve quality beyond what it already has ;).

I'll let you know when I've gone through the cards.

Wow, thanks :). I really appreciate that! :)

@Slev: I realise I noted a few missing monsters in obvious places, but I left out others that I assumed you removed to rebalance the maps. As it is, I noticed you also added monsters here and there.
