Maybe I will just reuse your card set, except for the monsters as I have already my own set of monsters finished.
Thanks for this great work!

I can alsays get you the *.PSD files if you simply want to tweak them.

To say I put a great deal of thought into the design of these cards is an understatement.

Really need to press on with the Quest Books, and perhaps the Apprentice Magic System.

Say, is it intended that in your version of "Strands of Binding", the hero cannot defend against attacks from Monsters?

No, and it doesn't say that anywhere either.

It limits the target's Actions to Attack Actions against the Spell.

Ah...
ok, now i understand. As defending is not an action, it is not affected. Similarly you could drink potions.
Is movement an action in your system?

Exactly.

Movement is a result of actions, normally.

Theoretically, you could create an item that allows non-Action movment, but I don't have theose anywhere.

In whose rule system have I seen that Movement is an action,
and that a hero has two actions per round?
I like that a lot. It is very elegant and probably quickens up the game a lot.
I will probably implement that or something very similar if/when I wirte my HQ-based skirmish game.

That's quite realistic, however, here i prefer the game mechanics over realism.

One has to be careful. If someone gets extra actions just because he doesn't move, it means, you will face situations where nobody moves, waiting for the other.
We did a lot to make people moving, inventing ewp cards and some other stuff, so i wouldn't contradict that.

I would be totally sold if someone shows me a method that keeps the game moving and this feature activated, but i didn't see it yet.
October i will try Conan. May be they succeeded. They implemented a strange fatigue counter system that i will heavily tryout. But then, that's more a skirmish than a crawl... :)

i like your text for "reanimation", Slev. It solves some problems with the original spell.

Are you sure Mind Freeze should target body points?
I read your card as "These dice cause one point piercing frost damage on White Shields and Skulls." There is no remark that these shall target mind points, so i would assume that this targets body points instead.
That could be an instant kill for the wizard.

I'll have to check that one. Likely just a missing "spirit" symbol from the sounds of it...
