Finally after a year or so, I'm able to get some work done on this quest pack. Nothing like starting your own business and it taking up 100% of your time.
It still needs a lot of work but here's where it stands at the moment. I have one more quest to create and then to put it all together into a PDF document.
Please play test it and give me feedback so I can change it up as needed.

FYI, don't use fresh hero's. Use some that have been around the block and have homebrew equipment and mercenaries.

You will need four boards and tiles that you can find here at the inn.

Is this 'finished' in a rough format or is there a 6th quest to come? I'm happy to dive into this, but only if all the quests are here. I have too many ongoing journeys where the party is waiting for further quests to be completed: Epic Quest, Mound of the Beastmen, and the sequel to Crossroads of the World.

Too much effort to be left hanging, but if it is all there in rough form I'll make it work!

I honestly haven't thought about a sixth quest, but that would be a great Idea to end the quest line. My original vision for this was to stop at quest 5. I've been trying to get a team together to help generate quests, as I don't have much time to play them anymore.
I wasn't going to put everything in final format until it's be play tested by outside players. So I know where I need to adjust them. I still need to make monster cards, a back story to start the quest book off, fix the monster index for the quest book, extra. Because of the quad board, I probably won't be able to use the standard format of the HQ booklet.

Edit: As I'm rereading some of my verbiage, I need to double check every quest note makes sense.

The Ancient Entrance - (E) should actually say something along the lines that if the room is searched, the heroes only see a skeleton of a grave robber in the cover. If the Skeleton is searched place the giant rats on the board. Something roughly like that.

I was trying to get everything on one page before, which clearly isn't going to work. :lol:

I put some hours in the past few days working on getting this finished up.
It still needs an armory and monster cards created, then added to the pack.
I would say it's a good 75% complete, minus the things noted about and making sure everything makes sense.

Play tested quest one The Emerald Seer tonight. Took way too long compared to the quest notes and what was on the quest page. Stated around 6 o'clock tonight, didn't get finished until roughly 8 o'clock. Some of it was due to the group I was playing. The other was due to the doubles rule. No joke, at least two heroes rolled doubles every round. At one point I bent the rule and allowed the Elf to reroll three times. The Elf rolled doubles each and every time.

By this point they had rolled doubles twice and found a wandering monster.

Changed the rule on doubles rolled.

Double 1's you're moving too slow and the guards catch up. :roll1: :roll1:
Double 6's you're moving too fast and the guards can hear you. :roll6: :roll6:\
Any other doubles rolled, nothing happens.
