Hey guys, a few years back I converted this quest pack into a solo pack and only successfully ran it through with a Barbarian and Elf. But we currently have a wider variety of heroes but there's so many restrictions on various heroes. So I'm aiming to put this together on Quest builder and I'd like to know which hero you guys might want to see this quest pack for.

I'd really like to try it with all of them, but I wouldn't be sure how to do that. Does anyone have any ideas of maybe how to work this out?

The final battle is kind of the monkey wrench because we're talking about using three legendary weapons that are formerly exclusive each to a different hero. So you're normally expected to have at least 3 heroes (and the mission will fail if one of them dies and can't be revived then and there). Doesn't mean you can't do it of course, just have to decide what is best.

To me though the whole idea was that the first few quests are extremely easy (by the standards of NA gameplay), simply because they are meant to be teaching brand new players how to navigate this type of game... they are exploring and cautiously searching and slowly healing themselves afraid of dying. Finally after they've built up a lot of gold they are gaining confidence to venture forth. So maybe there is simply no need for a solo quest to end the game?

As for the restrictions that's all up to you, you can simply change them. After all, in the NA edition there was no rule restricting the crossbow to the elf alone, while in the Japanese original, there was. So if you wanted to let the Monk or the Warlock wield the Freeze Bow, that would be within your ability because you're making it up as you go. Anyway, good luck!

The first times I ran through it I just had them use the Spirit Blade, taking out the whole convoluted nature of 3 weapons in a row. It's streamlined and simplified. However if dealing with a Wizard, Warlock and Monk the spirit blade is inaccessible.

The simplicity of the first 3 quests is the reason I made it solo. Plus it's difficult to get a whole group together. I actually had a fun time putting it together and the two people that played them enjoyed them too.

If you had fun playing it, that's the most important thing, of course! |_P

In the EU editions, the Wizard can use the Spirit Blade (I guess because it's a magical weapon, going with some interpretation of Warhammer Fantasy magic lore of the time).
