Here ya go: NA version of the quests in A4 format:

Thanks a million!! perfect!

One thing though: page 2 has the conclusion instead of the intro ;)

Whoops! That's what happens when I'm sleepy and just looking at thumbnail versions rather than the whole image and have a bazillion versions of each page. Here is a PDF with the correct pages:

I hate to nag, but I have one more request...

I'm missing the "playing Rise of the Chaos God" text now, and could you make the front cover 1 A4 page too, and the back 1 seperate A4 at the end? That way I can simply print everything double-sided.
I realise that adding the "playing Rise of the Chaos God" text adds one page, but that only means I need to print the front cover 1 sided, and from then on the rest double sided, so the last page will have the conclusion on one side and the back cover on the other. I tried doing it with my pdf creator, but I couldn't get it right -.-

I've now made it through the whole setup, and I had to run them as pathetically as possible to even intrigue my players. The repeated reference to Grimdead as a god (or formidable) was basically turned into a joke.

Grimdead went down after a minimum of turns, because all that's required to beat him is remembering that little scroll of paper.

I tried to strike a balance between remaining faithful to the Japanese designers' intent and trying to make it palpable in English. As I explained in my first post about this project, it was never to remain completely faithful to the Japanese version (I think someone else over at Old Scratch is doing a version like that?) nor to completely rewrite it to fit into the "Empire vs. Zargon" cycle, but to find some sort of balance. I'm perfectly happy with someone (you?) doing a version that is basically a complete rewrite. I'd do it myself, but I'm gearing up for my next HQ Quest Pack project. :D

I'm disappointed to hear that Grimdead went down so quickly and easily. I worried that might be the case, and did consider making that change from the Japanese version.

I'm curious: did your players take notes on how to beat him? Or did they just remember?

They just did.

Haha, I wondered if you'd notice. Yeah, I'd intentionally left it out because there is no "bottom" half to go with it in the A4 format. And, truthfully, it is completely non-essential--I just copied one of the paragraphs from one of the quest packs about the quests needing to be played in order (duh), and then (to fill some space) I wrote a paragraph about this quest being meant to be played with veteran Heroes for the story to make sense, but suggestions on how to change the wording in "Message from Mentor" to have it make sense with fresh Heroes. But if you'd like, I'm happy to do an A4 version with that in there.

and could you make the front cover 1 A4 page too, and the back 1 seperate A4 at the end? That way I can simply print everything double-sided.

Ah. Yeah. I thought that might be a problem. No worries. I'll make that change today, probably. :D
EDIT:
Those changes have been made, go ahead and download the new one now and let me know how it works for you.

Oh, interesting. The group that I'm playing with did that quest last weekend, and while they could remember what the three things were, they couldn't remember whether Fire or Water was first, and so asked if I could remind them later. This is what gave me the idea for doing it as an Artifact Card--since it is something that the quest notes says they receive.

Hmm, same mediafire link? I downloaded it and the cover is still like it was...

Reading your comment, you can leave out the "playing..." bit :)

Strange. Last time I uploaded a fine with the same name to mediafire, it asked if I wanted to replace that file and use the same link. I think it didn't ask me that this time. Anyway, here is the correct link to the current A4 version:

Without a playing aid, I'd be content to simply reveal the correct order when requested. Grin's Stone Map was a four-part attaboy prop lacking any necessary game information.

To complete things, here are my revised EU custom japanese artefacts. Same as BB's (almost), with and without the "CU" custom logo.
