Here are the cards for the Elementalist deck, used by the Mystic.

Edit: To clarify, the way those cards work is that there are 8 of them and you either pick randomly or pick which ones you want each quest up to 5. After a number of quests completed, you can start picking 6. It's similar to how the Elf spell cards work in that quest pack. But the Mystic doesn't get to pick from other decks. There is a second instance of Lightning in there but it's just a variant, it's not that you'd get an increased chance of picking it, and the Summon Elemental card is just an explanation for what you can do at "Knight" level (10-14 quests complete).

Finally, the Hero Cards for Ranger!

S/he is VERY WEAK and must be played skillfully. Looking back in my old notes, I originally had him at 5 Body Points and didn't have the "Wizard Armor" restrictions. I have beefed him up a bit by giving him the inherent power of a Tool Kit (originally his disarming ability only worked on WHITE shields... far too risky) and the one time use Detection ability (search for traps/secret doors simultaneously with monsters present OR the old "trap behind the open door" thing). Maybe I should have given him the ability to "disarm" a trap through a doorway too? I also gave him a dagger to clarify that his bow (which is two-handed) only works at a distance... no clubbing the enemy with the bow for 2 combat dice, sorry! He still has the +1 movement. This character rewards you for surviving enough quests by upgrading to some really high level stuff (double black dice ranged attacks).

The Paladin Hero Cards...!

I'm very happy with the Paladin. If it was only adding one new Hero, this would have been it. Good in general, but especially good against the Undead. I realized my rules were a bit vague when it comes to Chaos warriors, but I can let that one slide. It will be interesting to see how s/he performs at higher levels (Champion, Knight). My philosophy with these characters was to try to balance magic and strength, much like the original Heroes, but also give them little twists that could come in handy in situations that come up in all our games.

Hero Cards for the Cleric:

I wanted a healer/support type of character, but really the Cleric has a lot of combat potential as well. The stats ended up being exactly the same as the Paladin. Originally I gave the Cleric one more Mind and one less body. You'll pay more for weapons, but you can get the same strength level as any other Hero (with the exception of the Barbarian, who is the only one who can use the 4 diagonal attack Greatsword, in my rules). Regarding "Heal Allies" I intended for it to be used on other Heroes/Mercenaries ONLY, however I did say you could use it to save yourself from dying (reviving you with only 1 BP). But since it's a bit vague, I would also allow it to heal yourself simultaneously (by 1) if you've already healed your comrades as much as they can be.... meaning if you have a point left over. I didn't want players to simply use it as a generic self-heal-to-full like other spells.

Hero Card for the Mystic...

Originally she started with a dagger just like the Wizard. I wanted to differentiate the two a bit more. She has better combat abilities overall than the Wizard (at base level) and also more opportunities for healing. But at higher levels the Wizard gives you a lot more options and would be for the more advanced player.

Forgot to post this, but here is the male version of the Mystic hero card (I have a miniature for him too, just have to snap a photo to post). Looking back I realize I didn't use the "proper" HeroQuest font for the small text (and even printed them out that way), but otherwise they are final.

A big version of the Paladin cards, at long last... Edit: To Clarify... he gets ONE Holy Water and ONE use of "Holy Flame" at his starting level. I just made variants for fun there and after completing a number of quests he can have stockpiled more HW's.

And the Cleric's cards... Edit: Clarification. At starting level my Cleric gets ONE use of Recovery and ONE use of "Heal Allies." After completing a number of quests, s/he gets a second use of Heal Allies each Quest. Like the Paladin and Ranger, I made some variant cards reflecting the male/female thing just for fun.

Interesting character cards you've made Kurgan.
Any possible way you could design some for the Female Elf and Female Barbarian?

I never agree with the fact that a card can be used once the hero dies... Heal Allies for example: in such a way, he has 4 cards of the same type, it is like the Cleric has at least 9 body points, and even more if he uses after 2 or lost body points. Also he has Recovery... so he definetely has too much curative spells/skills in my opinion.
Did you test him in play?
