Well they did add subtle adjustments in his quest pack, mainly with potions that are combat oriented. There aren't that many for the Dwarf or Wizard.
However, how often do groups get all the way to the Barbarian quest pack?

Yeah, that may be true, but when I played it in my teenage years, all I had access to was the main game and 3 expansion packs (Kellar's Keep, Return of the Witch Lord and Wizards of Morcar). Now in the day and age of the almighty internet, I can finally also play through the other expansions that were released :P.

I have several Barbarian Heroes, as I can never stop myself from making yet another one.

The most agressive has the original artwork:
He has +1 combat die to every weapon.

Then there is one who a bit defensive:
He might reroll one Walrus each time he attacks, and he ignores movement penalties coming from equipment.

And then there is one who can decide:
He can use two handed weapons in one hand. If he uses two handed weapons in both hands, he can distribute the rolled :skull: between adjacent enemies; but he must decide before the enemies roll for defense.

my barbarian is "When performing a mellee attack, you may change one White shield to a skull'
makes his damage far more consistent throughout as i find that the +1 attack die can be a bit too strong when hes wielding a four dice weapon anyway.

My point is that when I play with children (nephews), they all want to be the barbarian because it is the strongest! The elf is balanced, resulting a mix of fighting skills and some magic, the Wizard has the spells but it is too weak to fight, so better if an adult use him and the dwarf... he is short, has no spells, 1 more unuseful mind point and the ability to disarm traps (so all the other players ask him to go and risk his BP to try to disarm traps). That is why I would like to add the dwarf a really useful skill or making him better in defense.

I don't know if he came up with the concept, but Sjeng produced some cards that allow dual weilding. I like the fact that there's a great deal more variety to the equipment, but double attacks seem too unbalanced, plus it negates heroic brew and Orc's Bane.
I'd like to incorporate it into play, but there has to be a balance... perhaps in slowing down a hero carrying 2 weapons.

Hahaha i need to work on my wording apparently.

If he uses ONE two handed weapon in BOTH hands, he can distribute the rolled skulls between two adjacent enemies.
Could you native englishians help me finding words that say this?

I chose option 2.
My system does that and Barbara (yes, Anderas, it did catch on!) starts with a short sword.
