There is his starting hammer coming from his workshop and the hammer he might buy later.

Maybe the starter hammer adds a skull as soon as there are two skulls rolled, on two combat dice.
The warhammer, the one with the spike, may have one die more, add a skull for any result with 2+ and reduce the defense by one die for each skull?
I have to excel that weapon.
