Cynthialee, I completely agree with you about the fighter. I have him that ability because apart from having 1 more attack die than the Barbs he has 1 less health and 2 less defend dice then him. In addition thew chances of rolling 5 skulls is so slim that it might only happen once out of 3 different quests. Maybe change it so if he rolls 5 skulls he can then roll another two attack dice as a critical hit?

I am gonna keep them in my game, I wish every game had a necro and vamp as playable characters lol.

Haha Mozenwrath kitty def suits hero quest more then smokey :). Smokey is Zargons secret weapon, if my sis has beaten me thoroughly for three games straight I usually summon the smokey from the ninth dimension of hell/my bed by making cat food time noises and she usually devourers the hero's souls/plastic heads!

My Mozenwrath was aptly named. He is a major villain in the forest. I am sure the squirrels must have a bounty out on him by now.

OK ignore all my previous characters they lame and unbalanced. I have since made new characters that I feel are balanced and all different enough to merit their inclusion.

Cleric spells:
Heal: This spell may be cast on any hero, including yourself. Contact with the clerics hands will restore up to five lost body points, but will not give a hero more than his starting number.
resurrection: This spell may be cast on any hero, not including yourself. Contact with the clerics hands will resurrect any hero that has died and restore up to 3 lost body points.
Turn undead: This spell may be cast on all undead monsters adjacent to the cleric.It will inflict two body points of damage. The undead monsters then roll two red dice. For each 5 or 6 rolled the damage is reduced by one point.

Thief cards:
Sneak x3: This skill may be used by the thief. On the thiefs next five turns he may move unseen through spaces that are occupied by monsters. If he attacks a monster while he is sneaking he does double damage but ends the sneaking skill.

Trapper cards:
Pit trap: The trapper is able to place a pit trap on any square adjacent..If a monster moves onto the pit trap square the trap is srung, and one body point of damage is delivered in the fall. Once a monster is in the pit it attacks and defends with one less die.
Spear trap: The trapper is able to place a spear trap on any square adjacent..If a monster moves onto the spear trap square the trap is srung, and one body point of damage is suffered if a skull is rolled.
Falling block trap: The trapper is able to place a falling block trap on any square adjacent..If a monster moves onto the falling block trap square the trap is srung, roll three combat die, for each skull rolled the monster suffers one point of damage.
