Need More Equipment Cards

Let's not forget the casinos and gambling houses (can't take credit, that was lil bro's idea back in the day!) you can visit while waiting for your next mission...

And we're not just talking about playing craps, but also tests of strength, wagering on duels, etc. until the casino owners approach you "you seem to be winning too much, my friend" ... or maybe a dramatic entrance of a wounded knight or a King's messenger interrupts your gambling. Maybe some orcs bust in and start flipping tables... and oh no, they have an Ogre with them!

I'm loving all these ideas for quests and taking away the players' gold!

Worst Idea: Some greedy Alchemists with no sense release the formula for turning lead into gold, crashing the Imperial economy. Now it's worthless until the invention of microchips!

Your mission is to track down the gold and start transforming it back into lead to get everyone back on the gold standard before it's too late!

Drew, I did a complete equipment revamp here a while back rebalancing equipment and giving a better progression and chewing through a lot more hero gold so they always have stuff to spend on. It uses coloured dice, so I don't know if that is what you are after though.

I don't like over-complicated rules, and don't saw any simple rules for weapon breaking yet. Maybe if someone has a rule that was easy to apply and don't need any bookkeeping, I will do a try.

I never used it, but I remember seeing a house "rule" where when using a weapon, if you roll two (or more) black shields, it "breaks" (or runs out of arrows, etc). Not sure about armor breaking, though.
