What is the true card front color??

Before my game arrived in the mail I began prepping the cards for print. I used the PDF's of the cards provided on this site. Where the background color of the card (not including the monster cards) is almost a light yellowy brown. When I received my game I looked at the cards (not including the monster cards) The background looks purely white.

Can anyone confirm if their real cards background color is white?

There are both

There are white cards with black boundary and writing
and there are
off-white cards with dark red-brown boundary and writing

For my cards i used those colors:
Dark red-brown is in RGB (59,0,0)
off-white is in RGB(245, 235, 219)

that seems to fit with my original cards, however, that's without guarantee.

I just looked through my North America cards. I have three different tones as my cards were acquired from different sets. All of them are off white.

My most mint set is a good deal lighter in color, and could be mistaken for white. When you say white, you mean that you put your cards next to white sheet of paper and they match?

The second issue you are going to have is that attempting to print the off-white will likely end up appearing completely white anyways, or just dirty as my print from TheGameCrafter just came out. They are internally consistent, so it does not bother me. I suspect the off white comes from the card stock used and was not printed on there at all.

Yeah one of the base sets I got the cards are pretty much mint condition. I put one up to a white piece of paper, the difference is very faint

Yeah, i think it is the card stock and it varries / yellows over time.

that makes sense. The scans on this site must have been from a not so mint card set. I will have to reduce the yellow on all the pics for the card redos
