Yeah I was in a silly mood last night.

I would totally play with those cards and hope to pull the Take a Shower Card so I could play it against the Dwarf or Barbarian.
As for the Jazz Hands...

I had this vision of a small Gremlin or Kobold who is desperate to get the approval of Zargon, but the dude is completely clueless and flamboyant. So he puts on a dance number with every expectation that the master will love it.
Of course Zargon is only mildly amused and not for the reasons the Gremlin thinks.

"Look Boss, JAZZ HANDS!!!!"

So after due consideration I think this is a better idea for cards:
At the beginning of the game the EWP Draws one card for every Hero in play and 1 card for every 4 Henchmen in play.
These cards remain face down until the First Player takes a movement and action. Once this happens the EWP may turn over his cards and look at them.
Every time it comes around to the EWP he has a choice where he may roll for an NPC or take a card. The EWP only rolls for a monster/villain if there are no monsters on deck, EWP can only draw a card if he has less cards than the amount of heroes in play. {Each 4 henchmen raise the EWP card max.}
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I only made one sheet of potential cards today as I had stuff going on.

Here is the latest sheet of ideas:

So I seem to be in a manic creative phase.

Another stack of card ideas!

Your rule basically says: use it as fast as possible then you will get more. :)

Most rules say: If there is no monster on deck, you may take one.

I get that you roll for additional monsters each time there is none on the board? :bites-lip:

yes and you would think with a 1 in 6 chance at rolling that walrus tusk it would mean I get cards...
I roll them damn Walrus Tusks way to often.

Re: Evil Wizard Deck

most of this is all concept and idea storming anyways

I do know I can't wait for friends to come and spend a weekend again so I can try some modifications to the ever evolving thing we call gaming.

So game play in the past was when it is EWP turn if the board is bereft of monsters, we dice for a monster and if no monster is rolled I get a Chaos Spell that I can give to a minion. {In the future I am going to go with EW Cards and I will print all the Chaos Spells off as EW Cards in addition to cards, so I don't loose the ability to play with them.}
If a monster is rolled out, I can place him anywhere on the board that 'has been discovered'. Typically I will place my fast monsters at the farthest place I can that has eyes on a hero. Once I have eyes on, I turn the dude around and run him to the stairwell. At the stairwell this monster can return in 2 turns with 1-2 wandering monsters. If I roll out a slow monster I just drop him next to the weakest hero and try and nuke them.

Now I was thinking....if I have a monster in play, but the dude is 'in the stairwell' as he is getting help...doesn't that mean I have 'no monsters in the dungeon'? Thus I should get a chance at a monster or a card.... Then I worry my players will consider that a lame interpretation of technicalities.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.
