True. But then why say that the spell can be cast on a future turn? Obviously it can be cast on a future turn because the quill doesn't cast it, it just copies it to a scroll. I was just saying that you don't really need any direction on whether or not the spell can be cast because you copy it before the quest. Any direction as to the availability of the spell later in the quest (or not discarding it) is not really necessary, it would just be for clarity to an inexperienced player. I suggested the "don't discard the spell" wording since any players that need direction may assume that you discard the spell because you are "using" it to make a spell scroll with the quill. Rather than "you may cast it on a future turn." I think both wording would still be confusing to anyone who actually needs the clarity text. Perhaps there is a simpler solution to make it clear that the spell is not used, discarded, or otherwise by the quill.
In any event, I really like the artifact! It's a solid disposable artifact you could slot into the treasure deck or hide in a treasure chest or bookcase.
