Sleep IS actually a band's name!
Their Dopesmoker album is one my best favourite albums.
Contains a single hour-long track, with mainly the same repetitive riff and rhythm all through the hour!
I don't need to say more, just press play and enjoy for 63 minutes!

I didn't know there was anyone in the world, much less outside the USA, that knows the band.
Reminds me. Have to give them a go after some years of almost forgetting them. Thx for bringing them up, tasoe.
Oh, and here's a tip for you: Sunn O)))

Concerning the band names: Pass Through Rock for a very stoned Doom/Stoner Metal band. Something like City of Ships or Trouble, but heavier and ... smokier...

Shield of Protection sounds like it could be an alt-rock band that does D&D music. Much like The Black Mages does covers of Final Fantasy songs.

Tempest. 80's glam rock.

Clairvoyance. Vocal Trance DJ.
War is not the answer...unless the question is, 'What is not the answer?'

hehe, can't stop smiling!
Let's be honest though, Sleep suck bigtime! I used to have them on in my house when I wanted people to leave!
I mean, I like them, but they are terrible! They are horrendously awesome.

I'm not the biggest fun of Kyuss, but sky valley is one of the most complete albums ever.

Also, sorry for off topic-ing here, but let's face it, it's a *lemony goodness* topic anyway.

Real people don't leave the house when Sleep are being played. Most are catatonic.

Bands that should never have thought of utilizing vocals:
Sleep, Trouble, Jesu, Jesu, Take That, Jesu, Nightwish, Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne (the band), Stoned Jesus, and Jesu.
