I think they look really nice in the setting of SC, although you have to be creative to fit the minis on some of them.

I started a conversion this evening... it looks a bit like a tellytubbie at the moment, but hopefully some greenstuff and paint will fix that!

Hi All,

Yes, aiming for a metal helmet... I managed the base coat and just applied some devlan mud this evening, which is still a bit wet but it gives you an idea of where I'm going...

Since the last shot I tidied up around the skull with some green stuff and also adjusted the left hand, as I'm still undecided about whether to give him a shield or not...

I'd say go for a shield. It's fitting and it will help establish him as a special character even more.

I say "NAY" to the shield. His axe is two-handed. He's just holding it in one hand for showing off.
His stats: MOV. 6, ATT. 5 (4 battle-axe + 1 very experienced), DEF. 6 (1 base value + 4 full plate + 1 helmet), Mind 3, Body 4
