common sayings durring a game?

My son has two sayings
- If he rolls skulls and the monster blocks the attack, he shouts "What the heck!"
- If he searches for treasure and pulls a hazard or wandering monster, he shouts "OH NO!"

Not so much a "saying", but whomever draws the "Nothing" treasure card always mimics the hilarious drawing.

I love that card. I allowed a search one time after an empty chest was searched, guess what the second hero found? Nothing!
Almost as good as pulling a pit hazard while searching a pit trap!

I think it's one of the very few non-clarifying house rules I'll admit to implementing. Searching pit traps is stupid AF!

It's a weird rule, and never came up in any of the quests anyway.

Haha, this is a fun topic!
I can only think of two at the moment:
My heroes always say "Knock, knock" when opening a door.
And if their attack roll has so many skulls that it's pointless to even roll defense die, they shout "GOT HIM!"

The last guy who fell and died in the pit trap might have something in his gear worth keeping, although the pit hazard shouldn't count in a pit.

You stumble on uneven terrain, rolling your ankle. Lose one BP. Return this card to the bottom of the deck. May not be used by the wizard.

This phrase (in greek) when heroes search for treasure, is in repeat mode in my mouth all these years.
