I'd rule out orange (sorry guys), as I expected something more detailed rather than a single colour choice.
Ragner's thing is always available but knightkrawler's idea got my attention at the moment.
I'm not sure I understand it completely, do you mean something like this?

@Ivenbach: I can't really say how long they took cause I had giant breaks between them.
I can only say that the shaman took no more than 3, hour-long sessions, when I was also working on the other guys. I had to ready him to lead my beastmen army soon and got prioritised.
If I worked straight on, say the gargoyle and the sorcerer, it would take at least 4-5 sessions, of 1-2 hours each, switching between the figures and waiting for washes to dry.

why dont you try some freehand? some sort of chaos themed gold patterns?

All very cool Tasoe.
I think plain black highlighted with grey would work on the gargoyle.

I've painted that Shaman in the past. Great mini.

It seems the scrotum is detachable. That's an interesting quirk I didn't know Fimirs had...

Oh is that a .... Nooo! That gives "wagging his tail" a whole new meaning.
And well I thought diaper too. I have saved the stump, which I might glue on again as a bloody mess.
