Snarf and his party of adventurers (if you could call them such) were my favorite. I remember when I was a teen, I had a subscription and I would wait every month for my magazine, and the first thing I would do is turn to SnarfQuest.

After finishing The Grail Qust books and the latest Saxon Stories title, I've moved onto Harry Potter . I'd bought them for the wifey who smashed them and enjoyed them. I'm halfway through the second and do far they've been a nice light read. I'll destroy them quickly too. I picked up the movies on Blu-ray and she'll get them soon so we'll watch them as soon as I've finished reading them.

I just finished Steven King's "The Dark Tower" series. It took me about a year of reading it off and on. I was definitely ready for the books to be over; however, it was a great adventure! I enjoyed how he melted different types of books (e.g., western, fantasy, Sci-Fi) all together into one series. I would recommend it but definitely buy all 7 (or 8) books at once (some end in cliff hangers).

Yes and the worst was that he took endless years to bring out the next book. I was reading "life" always when he put one of them on the market. It was painful.

Just finished Dee Snider's memoirs Shut Up and Give Me the Mic!
Fantastic read, I snickered and I cried...
This is not just for Twisted Sister fans, but for everyone interested in music business about someone who wanted to conquer the world with something he loved.
I could actually hear him speak reading the book. There's no ghostwriting involved here and the 'story' is that of a dreamer become megalomaniac who rose high and fell deeper.
I highly recommend this to ... really anyone.

Just finished Gauntlgrim, on to Neverwinter. After that, only 1 more Drizzt book to go and I'll have read them all... Seriously, if you aren't the BIGGEST Drizzt fan, read the first 6 and stop. There are a few good ones, a few okay ones, and some boring ones too, so unless you really want to know it all, just stop after 6.

I got halfway through Sandworms of Dune! Then gave up on it sadly. I was reading it when we were expecting a child. Child popped up...i stopped having time to read

I've read all the other books so I really should give it another shot!

I am currently going through all the Asimov foundation books in audiobook format. I listen to it whilst I am painting

In bed I am plowing through the Warhammer Quest roleplay book, i've told myself that i'll play the game once i've painted all the figures up (I got 2 sets of figures to get through) so the book may need another read by the time i'm ready to play.

On my tablet I am going through the story and history part of the warhammer codexs (to give me better insight into the different races i want to put into heroquest games) - I found them all on torrent (screw paying GW any money! haha)

At work I am having to read marking schemes for GCSE Maths exams, a tad boring!!!!

I've been reading the Dune series as well. But after reading the ones by Frank Herbert it took me a while to get the rest ordered. Never got around to starting up again...
