some nice projects there! I'd also like to know what that board is made of. Looks great!
I've also made bases from instantmold and milliput. Made them with tile-relief on them, for my ogres.

The board is stone tiles and i thought about making it my coffee table it probably weighs 40 pounds or like 18 kilos but i am casting walls for the rooms ill post more pics as i go along

How did you get by those stone tiles? Did you make them, and how?

Oh man are you the one person in the universe who actually makes a custom board - With the correct tiles - AND white walls!!!

Finished my 2 chaos sorcerors today. Only need to shade them and then varnish spray em. Stay tuned!!!

Got a goblin, Chaos Warrior and Hobgoblin (Dark World Orc) on the table at the moment.

Those stone tiles come in sheets for tiling walls, we did our bathroom in blue ones, and they can be pulled off the grid sheet individually or cut into whatever shape needed.
They come in all sorts of colours and finishes.

That instant mold, how's it work getting the bases out, does it flex, or do you have to reheat it in water everytime?

instand mold is flexible.
You first heat it in water (I use boiled water in a bowl), then you push it over an object (I use legos), it hardens quickly. Then you just peel it off, and it stays the way it is. Push in your milliput/greenstuff, let it harden, and peel off the mold again.

yeah the tiles are from home depot they are 28mm but i left a 1mm gap all the way around the tile so they take up 30mm in the 2mm between tiles is where the walls are going i was going to use plasticard but the hobby shops in ak are limited at best so tomorrow im gonna try to do some resin casts

I'm kinda all over the place today:


Magnetized the Imperial Fists for SC.


Started magnetizing my nid warriors.



And my trygon/mawlock. The head and tail pretty much defines which monster it is, so they are interchangeable. I know there are more differences, and the official rule is WYSIWYG... But you know what? F.U. GW!


A tyranid nest made from a lotus flower seed pod. I'm gonna fill the holes with "water" once it's painted.


And finally my drop pod. Just need to make the last tentacles. It has a polystyrene core and is covered in greenstuff and "fimo". The pink exits are fimo made from a mold i made. Not having to sculpt the doors over and over again saved some time, but this still took forever! Can't wait to paint this baby!
