Maybe it's gigantic dwarf among normals, like sometimes there are "tiny" giant in a normal giants family. :P

Slightly repainted their heroes. added a little more layers. Not very visible, but if you look closely, you'll see. The top photo repainted miniatures. Bottom photo for comparison as it was.
To a greater extent repainted elf (almost all except the face), a wizard (added details on his staff, clothing), dwarf (just added layers, precious stones, face), Barbarian (layers on the body, precious stones, add detail to the loincloth boots)

I like everything about them but the bases.
I just do not understand the choice of steppe grass bases.
Are these heroes for use in HeroQuest or for a different purpose?

Yes, agree that they did not base atmospheric. So far, I simply apply to other gaming systems. and then think to replace the base of the grass on the flagstones.
