I smoke weed mostly to deal with my anxiety disorder. Most of the prescription meds for it have horrible side-effects. Weeds the only thing that makes me feel calm.

I am very paranoid as an after effect of my addiction. The purpose of the paranoia is clearly to punish me for my sins and keep me down at work.
I can relate to anxiety disorder.

I used to get prescribed to this stuff that made it impossible to get an erection, stand up quickly, ride (not drive) a car and it made me cry watching the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I'll take the weed.

I wouldn't recommend smoked cheese. It clogs your pipes.

Some of your game premise reminds me of DungeonQuest or it's third edition. I've only read about it, but descriptions include deadly combats, traps, and pit rooms. Instadeath is possible, and characters aren't likely to survive.
