If I am wrong, I am wrong. I won't insist I'm right based purely on the evidence that I am me. Also, I'm stoned almost all the time.

I wouldn't count your score just yet, however. See, you score yourself for "not talking out of your ass" when I declared such over you saying "I think it was written." You then described how well you knew the subject manner--this indicates that you were clearly underplaying your currently-intact knowledge by merely describing "I think it was written." As you proved yourself, you know a great detail about the subject, yet chose to describe that in an intentionally misleading context. Without quibbling over semantics, I am absolutely positive that when you said "I think it was written..." you were talking "out of your ass."

My exact quote was
I think it was written with Tunnels and Trolls in mind ...
Which clearly indicated that I was previously aware of the subject matter of the book, but did not want to declare a fact that I had not checked in months. I was obviously not speaking out of my ass but instead decided to make a safe statement showing that there may be some chance I was not correct.

Perhaps if you had said "I think Grimmtooth's dungeon was written way before tunnels and trolls was printed" it would have sounded like an opinion that could or could not have been true.

As opposed to not only stating that my implied time frame was impossible and even laughing in your comment, which to me felt derogatory.

Of course it is hard to understand the implied meaning of statements from a text based form of communication, so perhaps you were just laughing cause you were stoned and felt the need to include your humorous outburst during your statement.

Anyway this is getting boring, lets talk about something else.

I am interested in the progress of your 8bit game.

My kids and I look forward to playing it. Will it be a stand alone or will I need a emulator program to run it.

I disagree. I think you're just trying to cover your ass. You even tried to "step-father" me. That's where you try to win an argument by first complimenting me before you try to change the subject. I cite you on topicality. We're not here to debate anything but if whether or not your "Exact Quote" qualifies as talking out your ass, because you scored yourself a point for it. You've then attempted to end this argument three times, with yourself as the humble winner. You claim you are a vigilante debater here to show people how not to put up with me, so do that. You've had to explain what you meant by your simple phrase twice now--that want for further explanation basically proves that you were figuratively talking out of your ass. When I accused you of that, I did so on the basis that you were misrepresenting your knowledge on purpose. I was right. Its not a matter of tone but of parlance. Teach me a lesson, Captain.

Yeah, that would be pretty counter-productive. Alright, I'll let it go.

Master (de)bater. At least I think he meant that.

What I don't get is how someone with a good mind is destroying it by being stoned all the time. Weed is sorta legal here, weird arrangement in my opinion, and stoners here are, well, not very intelligent. You should know what it does to your brain, don't you?

Well, let's not get into that here. Back to the board game topic.
