Today I started working on painting up all my Hero Quest pieces painted and tabletop ready.

I was able to get my 4 skeleton knocked out yesterday and I used Army painter Quick shade to wash them. Today I'm painting the zombies and the mummies. once they are washed and dried I'll post. My Goal is to get the whole set knocked out this month.

I am checking if my hands and eyes are still good (seems no)...
Trying to paint some Chaos Sorcerers, with this bad result. I guess I will strip and paint it all again!
Maybe I also need brand new brushes and colors?

It’s not that bad.
Throw down a quick wash ,it’ll help.
What paints are you using?
Anything is better than no paints at all.
Getting older definitely sucks for painting miniatures.....lol
My eyes are getting bad and I have a tremor in my left hand...lol
I should have painted all of mine 30 years ago.

Rath of Un,

That's a nice looking Skeleton. Good, clean lines and color. The only thing I would change is putting some more detail on the scythe. |_P

Lestodante,

I think you maybe be right on the brushes, they tend to go bad after awhile. But with that being said, Fallensaviour is right. Throw a wash on it and blend everything together, then maybe one touch up highlight. |_P

As for myself, I haven't painted my figures in a while and I need to come up with an idea for the Christmas Exchange this year. However this is a project I just finished for a friend of mine.

She asked for a coffee table. So I spent about $150 on lumber and came up with that. Not that it matters, but it's made from red cedar and oak.

I worked to put all my base game monster cards in the same format like the one we use in HQ25. Like that I can make one order to have them all as a fresh monster card deck, once we finished the monster discussion in HQ25.
