I just assumed it was free. It really does not matter right now, anyway. We just need mock-ups.

Too much text on cards. At this stage i'd say reduce it a bit.

Changing the edge curvature will give you more visually pleasing space.

Looking back fluff text on cards at this point is probably a bad idea. (Also I just figured out how to change the curvature of the edges, but think I am going to be doing the next batch of cards in either a spreadsheet or plain text. Too much work to do more mock ups at this time.)

This looks really good. I love modding but I can't create something from the ground up like this.

You'll get told off for double posting instead of editing. ;)

Jump in and 'mod' CP's original rule-set. What do you think that I am doing. :D

That being said I've came across a couple of issues while fleshing out my card list.

Issue 1: For melee weapons the amount of damage dealt is based off of the number of dice rolled that exceed the targets armor number, while for range weapons the amount of damage dealt is based off of a number I have arbitrarily chosen. This arbitrarily chosen number then ignores the targets armor entirely if the ranged roll is acceptable. (No way the guy who forgot his armor at home and the guy who is brought his 3 inch thick suit of power armor take the same damage from my pistol shot, just because I rolled acceptably.)
Suggested Solution: Figure out of the range attack hits or not based on the current rules but from then on treat successful range attacks just like successful melee attack. This means that I could do 0 damage with my range attack if my dice are 'high' enough to overcome the range issue, but 'low' enough to fail at beating your armor.

Old Needler
Needler
1 Hand Firearm
Standard Indirect Option: [YELLOW DIE]
Feedback: 1

On a successful indirect option deal 1 wound for
each die showing that surpasses the targets armor.

New Needler
Needler
1 Hand Firearm
Feedback: 1

Spend 1 Yellow Die to make and indirect attack
with the Needler. During this attack you may
spend as many additional yellow dice as you
choose.

Issue 2: Melee weapons are only differentiated currently by their extra abilities. This is because you can voluntarily spend extra dice during the attack. This means that all melee weapons that you can use can have attacks equal to the current number of vigor points.
Solution: Make the attacks like special abilities from Magic the Gathering cards. Instead of being able to add additional dice to all actions you would have to spend a specific amount of dice for that action. Then possibly the action would allow extra dice (Example: chainsaw or machine gun) while other attacks wouldn't (Example: pocket knife or pistol)

old chain saw
Chain Saw
2 Hand Close Combat Weapon
Standard Direct Option: [RED DIE] [RED DIE]

For each 5+ rolled deal 1 additional damage
during direct options.

new chain saw
Chain Saw
2 Hand Close Combat Weapon

Spend 2 Red Dice to make a direct attack with
the chain saw. You may sacrifice 1 red dice to
add two grey dice to your roll.

When attacking with the chainsaw deal 1
additional damage for each 5+ rolled.

What do you think? Am I over-analyzing?

I'm spending all my editing time on my HQ still. I've still got loads of cards to make.

Your attack options policy seems apt. In hand-to-hand you can defend yourself, but when you're being shot at its really up to shooter if you get hit.

Going to have to add a new option for yellow dice and add a new dice color.

Aim Option: Sacrifice any number of [Y] to add that many [B] to your Dice Pool. The next time you make an indirect attack option roll all [B] as well. Count them towards deciding if the option hits, but not towards damage. Return all [B] to the Dice Bank during the refresh phase.

Notes:
[Y] = yellow dice, [B] = blue dice (new), Dice Pool = Dice you can use during the turn, Dice Bank = Pile us currently unassigned dice.

Reasoning: Now some guns just can't shoot that. A feedback 3 gun that only needs [Y] to shoot can only shoot 2 squares at max, which is wrong... Now you can increase your accuracy without increasing your damage.

As always let me know what you think.

Crazy side question: I have a spreadsheet with some new weapons (Shamelessly lifted from a game I used to play). How is the best way to get them into here for suggestion/critique?
